Easify Custom Product Options

Option sets are great, loaded with fine features.

However it lacks some features which are very basic. We wanted a way to disable the option set if the product (without any variants) is sold. they have a functionality to hide option sets for 'Out of stock' products but not for 'Sold' products.
This is very basic requirement.

If you have a simple store with a few products, perhaps this app works. But if you manage dozens of products with complex options and depend on accurate pricing, be extremely careful.

We experienced constant issues combining Shopify's native options with Easify. Pricing would not display correctly, repeated patches were required, and after support began making changes, we started finding incorrect pricing and problems across other products. We have spent days troubleshooting and repairing issues and have finally given up.

Something we wish we had understood beforehand: once you commit to Easify, getting out is not as simple as uninstalling the app. We are now manually rebuilding dozens of options back into Shopify.

Most concerning, shortly after granting Easify's support team access to our store, an entire product page disappeared along with images from our library. We continue to discover additional missing images. We cannot confirm what caused this, but the timing is concerning enough that we have opened an investigation with Shopify to determine what happened.

One final piece of advice: don't just focus on all the positive reviews. Read the negative reviews first. Look at the problems other merchants have experienced and then decide whether you are still comfortable trusting the app with your store. We wish we had paid considerably more attention to those reviews before committing.

After 5 years of building our Shopify store, this has been one of the most frustrating app experiences we have had. We did request a refund for our purchase since we started to encountered major issues. We keep track of time spend correcting software issues and the hours spend on our overhead account attributed to Easify issues was at $1,473.00CAD as of today.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Easify. If you operate a complex store, proceed with extreme caution.

We had a tricky display issue caused by a missing closing tag in our theme. Suzy from the support team quickly identified the root cause and fixed the problem efficiently. The product options now load and display perfectly on our store. The app works great for my personalized custom hair accessories, and the support response is incredibly fast and professional. Highly recommend Easify Product Options for any Shopify merchant selling customizable items!

We had a rather specific mobile issue with our personalized products: everything worked perfectly on desktop, but the Add to Cart button stopped responding properly on mobile whenever Easify text options were involved.

I contacted the support team and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hannie was incredibly sweet, patient and helpful, forwarded everything to the developers, and the issue was fixed unbelievably fast. We tested it afterwards on several different phones, everything is working perfectly again.

What I especially appreciated was how friendly and personal the whole conversation felt. I never had the feeling of receiving generic support replies. They really cared about finding the problem and getting our shop running properly again.

The app itself is already extremely useful for all our personalized products, but support like this makes it even better.

We sell customized embroidered and custom printed apparel and home decor accessories so we need an app that offer different options and pricing. I am still in the website building and learning stage, but whenever I am stuck on something, their customer service had been there for me and helped me solve my problems and get me back working again. So far so good with the app, but their customer service is top notch. Thank you Kendle!

Great app with lots of customization options. I’m using it for custom apparel orders and it gives me a lot of flexibility with product options, file uploads, pricing, and conditional logic. Their customer support has also been very helpful and responsive while I was setting everything up.

The customer service was incredibly patient and attentive. When I struggled to configure the various options for uploading photos and names, the representative helped me set everything up step-by-step until the issue was successfully resolved. I am truly grateful to Lucy; without her help, it would have taken me ages to figure it out on my own. Thank you so much, Lucy, for solving this problem for me. The product itself is also highly powerful, enabling POD sellers to handle product customization much more effectively.

I use this app because I have products that are made to order. I only sell a certain amount every week but the variants a customer chooses have no inventory limits. This app allows me to have variants without tying inventory to them, but to the main product only.
(for example - you sell tshirts that come in 3 colors and 3 sizes. You have every size/color combo on hand in infinite quantities, but you only take x orders at a time)

Pros:
- The customer service is great. Very kind & helpful!

- Lots of customization options & customer service can customize even more for you.

- Image swatches are nice to have since shopify doesnt offer them natively.

Cons:
- App sometimes just doesn't work/show up for customers meaning i get sales with no variants chosen. Some of our variants have an upcharge, so I then have to cancel the order & have customers re-order which costs time, money, & confusion.

- When they do updates, it often 'breaks' or undoes many of the customizations. I then have to redo them or contact support to do things i don't have access to. This can be difficult because we are in a different time zone than support.

- Without customer service intervention, the check out looks messy & confusing. The app basically adds an additional product to the cart for the variant options chosen which often confuses our customers. This can be removed by customer service on the back end so customers don't see it, but again this is undone when they do updates. I am still waiting for customer service as we speak to fix what the app update broke.

- With this app, all the variants live in the app vs in shopify. This means that you cannot run reports in shopify that show the variants customers chose. The app does offer a plan that includes the report, but it is $10 more than the basic plan & the report is not great. Very jumbled and no customization. Not worth paying $10 extra a month.

**Overall, this app does a lot. It has a lot of great features that you cant usually find all in 1 app. But there are a ton of hang-ups that make my job harder. I am actively looking for other solutions but this app is our best option for now.
