Incorrectly puts forward merchandise from locations that are NOT used to fulfil online orders. It takes one line of code to go from "plop in the total inventory" to "locate online-available inventory only and add it up", and I am not the first person to complain about this.
You're paying for half of a program.
When I started paying for this app, I was under the impression that it would handle syncing between both Etsy and Shopify, however I have come to find that it only handles syncing from Shopify to Etsy.
This meaning that if something is bought on Shopify it will be removed from Etsy, but if something is bought on Etsy it is NOT removed from Shopify.
Alright for syncing products to Etsy, but I ended up still having to adjust all my listings on Etsy anyway. The interface is clunky and doesn't load well. I think I'll be cancelling my service...
The app is something we use out of necessity for now to sync our etsy orders to shopify, but we are looking for alternatives as we enter our third year of using it.
They have changed their offers without much warning, and generally, the changes have had a negative effect on the usefulness of this app.
They got rid of add-ons and forces costly upgrades with features that we don't want or need. For example, we don't use the pinterest pins at all, but we are stuck in a "custom plan" that doesn't just let us get etsy orders instead we also get pinterest pins that we never asked for or wanted.
The app also still fails to update the sync between etsy and shopify after orders have been shipped, and they haven't provided us with a solution though we have asked several times.
I downloaded this app TWICE thinking it was exactly what I needed. Talked to customer support several times, and they assured me that when something is ordered from Etsy, it also syncs on Shopify. THAT IS NOT THE CASE. It will automatically pull the inventory numbers from Shopify and apply them to Etsy, which completely screwed up my inventory numbers and had customers buying things that weren't actually in stock. Not a good app, and it makes NO SENSE for it to only sync one way, especially for people that sell on the two platforms. Very disappointed and I wasted a lot of time trying to make this work. Don't bother.
Very expensive. 29 USD from the first order onwards.
Subscribed to this app for months now and continuously having issues with syncing inventory. I've spoken to customer service for months and the developers can't seem to figure it out. We're constantly overselling on products which is a dealbreaker for our business. Probably will cancel later this month.
The rep was very prompt and helpful. For a novice user like me, it is very important to have someone, whom I can ask questions 24/7. I appreciate dedicated reps, more than anything. Thank you for your support.
Updated review. The company no longer has 24/7 support. It seems only one person is providing support, so that you have to make an app to ask.
Update: 2/2020
I wanted to really use this app to create shipments, but it became more of a headache than anything. I have different prices on my etsy and shopify account. I spoke with agent who assured me that the prices and description would not change as long as I followed the directions he gave me. I check back 2 days later and many of my listings from my etsy shop had changed. Description and prices included. They told me they would try to revert it back, but they were not able to. I had to spend a few hours fixing this and also lost a few sales during the process... I would recommend Shippo, or another similar app. It's free if you just need to import orders.
