I had a disappointing experience with the Extend app. Despite the promising features, the app fell short in several areas. First, the interface is cluttered and not user-friendly, making it difficult to navigate. Additionally, I encountered frequent crashes and glitches, which significantly hindered my ability to use the app effectively. The customer support was unresponsive and unhelpful when I reached out for assistance. Overall, the app did not meet my expectations and I would not recommend it to others.
Extend is a great way to increase AOV and overall revenue while also supporting your customers!
We have technical difficulties due to the way our shopify store is set up and their team is attentive and works with us to find solutions to customize the experience to our needs.
Implementation is super simple and done through the app which we can appreciate!

Really unimpressed. I was super stoked to install this and get it going on our site. We've written store policies around this app. Then nearly a month later, we get an email from someone stating that they cannot work with us because our store does not have $3 million in revenue. Poof, that's it. You've lost a prospective customer.
We've been working with Extend for a bit over a year and overall they have been really great. We have had a few instances where they denied a claim for seemingly no reason, because the customer was within the appropriate timeframe and eligible for the claim (whether it be a ring resize or repair), and unfortunately they tell the customer that it's something that our company should cover when it is not. Each time when we've questioned Extend they've conceded and realized they were wrong, but ideally this doesn't happen at all because the customer gets upset at us thinking we're not doing something we should be doing, and in addition are annoyed at the extended time the back and forth with Extend takes before getting a resolution.
But overall I would definitely recommend them! They are great to work with and our customers have been very happy knowing they have protection for their products.
App works great and support is quick to help when needed. Highly recommended if you are looking to offer extended protection plans on your website.
Really easy to use, team helped onboarding, responsive support. I'd recommend for insurance, especially on high ticket items.
Our experience has been great with Extend. The team is responsive and works closely with our developers on integrations and setup. The only reason that I gave Extend 4 stars is that the process for servicing has been a bit all over the place, that is because we require our products to be only serviced at our servicing locations which adds a layer of complexity to the flow. Or customers have a lot more peace of mind purchasing now that they know they are covered for longer than our 1 year warranty.
In our niche kiln industry, personalized solutions are essential, and Extend has proven to excel in this aspect. Implementing their protection plans has greatly enhanced our offerings and customer satisfaction. I highly recommend their services.
So far we have had no issues with Extend and the team is really great to work with.
