doesnt work at all cant add products to store, or connect , no help from Facebook please fix this .

I updated the app within my shopify so I could continue to tag products on my instagram. Despite following all the steps it is no longer allowing product tagging. Very disappointing

Too complicated, too many options, should have made it simpler, and then through experience adding more and more options for user. This is way too complicated for a beginner.
Facebook channel is very usefull for shopify and the instagram shop.
I dont think that this message is going to be readen...
Using facebook and instagram has helped my online store tremendously. I would definitely refer current and future business associates.

it's a nightmare to setup, terrible privacy issues, Meta will edit all your products, all your clients e-mails, phone numbers and addresses.
Shopify will get to read all your facebook and instagram messages in return.
it's a horrible idea!

I completely understand your privacy concerns! The permissions requested are vetted by both Shopify and Meta privacy teams so that they are appropriate to do the tasks requested and nothing more. These types of permissions allow services like automated responses, related searches and in some instances continued conversations. Many similar predictive text algorithms are already in place in everyday life. Rest assured, however, that Shopify takes privacy matters very seriously.

Would like a more robust bulk editor. Would like to see images change when users look at variants. Mailing setup can be cumbersome.
