I have spent the last 48 hours trying to install the Facebook pixel on my shop (without success). I thought the problem was mine, but looking at the comments, I see that many people have the same problem. I am wasting a lot of time with this problem, and potentially money. I contacted Facebook, they sent me to Shopify, and I see in the comments that Shopify is implying that the problem is with Facebook.
The quality of service is really awful.

Following the setup instructions in this app led facebook to disable my account! I've had the account for almost 15 years now and have never had any issue with it, but as soon as I clicked "set up an ad account" per the instructions in this app it completely disabled everything. I've had to upload a driver's license, a selfie, and now I'm just waiting with no reply from facebook, completely missing out on running ads during the busiest shopping week of the year.

I have been using this App since day one - 6 months ago and it has definitely made my life easier. Love it! Simple to set up and easy to use.

Wow, the verification process is super annoying. It is impossible to verify you own a business if you are, for instance, a sole entrepreneur.

I installed this app to set up IG shopping and its so confusing and wouldn't allow me to complete the setup and now I can't even add my IG shop by just my FB catalog saying now my website URL is taken by a different business, because the FB channel app verified my URL and now its all messed up and IG thinks the FB channel claimed it.... how can I even remove that?

It seems that this could be related to the Facebook domain verification process, which is not separated from Instagram per say. It's much easier to set up this way. You still have to adapt because it's new. Let's hope it goes well!
