My experience with Facebook/Meta has been filled with issues. When creating account Shopify connected my online store to my personal page not business page. When a potential customer tapped the icon they would see personal page instead of Business page. This issue has been fixed but cannot verify for tax purposes, keeps asking for paypal. But no one ever thought that maybe some store owners do not wish to use paypal, whatsapp, etc.. One of the reasons why I introduced Shop Pay. My whole deal was to use Facebook as an avenue to attract traffic to online store and more concerned with the customers security. Facebook has so many ghost pages, scammers trying to steal information I would prefer the customer check out on website.

I tried to activate it but it's loading endlessly on Chrome and on Safari I wasn't able to accept cookie. What's going on with the app? - Continuation. Support team has provided follow up instruction which helped to install the app. Issue resolved.
Anyway, it's not the best user experience, when me personally have to write a review, talk to support chat, wait for an answer.. Hope it makes sense

If I could, I would give 0 stars. Have not been working for months, I have tried to solve it by myself and paid other people as well, but the problem hasn't been solved. I have communicated with support from both Meta & Shopify and they just put the ownership of solving the problem to the other. Shop connections are not working at all. The only thing which did work is the pixel, but who cares really... Currently, even the connect account button is not working so it is totally worthless, as I cannot even raise a support ticket after they closed the previous one because they said Shopify needs to fix it. Not to mention 50% of the people I spoke to (Support) were asking me to do the same thing over and over again as if I am an idiot. Very low quality of overall service, core functionality not working.

Hello, it seems to me a good option in terms of being able to expand our store through Facebook and Instagram, but it seems to me that they put up a lot of obstacles and the process is delayed for them to verify the account.

Frustrating ... I use to be able to post new items and run ads from Shopify. Now it says disconnected and I cannot add Meta posts to my marketing campaigns. Can we have the old app back?

I can't connect my store, it was connected but the instagram shop wasn't syncing up properly, so I tried again. I removed the connection but when I try to add it now it gives me the error message: Each asset is already associated with a different shop. Please disable one to proceed.
I read the previous bad reviews and Kristin and Aaron nicely reply and refer the bad reviews to contact their support team on the link: https://www.facebook.com/business/help.
Now here's the joke there is no way to contact them! There is a big button in the right top corner of the screen that says "Get support" you click it! You get redirected to https://www.facebook.com/business/help/support but guess what it's just an empty page.

Literally horrible! I cant explain how many times and different ways of getting my shopify to connect to instagram and getting my facebook connected as well. it has been a total nightmare and the guides are NOT CLEAR . im ready to give up on shopify all together because I would like it for my instagram but it literally doesnt seem worth it to me anymore. this is my first 1 star review ever ive been reading and trying things for hours and nothing.

The application worked without problems for quite a long time. Now it's installed, but I can't see it in Shopify Marketing anymore. Im asking for help. Thank you

This has been a complete NIGHTMARE. My personal account was hacked and I have lost administrative permissions and now my FB and Instagram shops through Shopify have been blocked. I am losing sales every day because there is no way to reach FB - there is no access to a human being who can help. I have tried to open a new account in my business name and now they claim I am mis-using the platform by using a different name (my business name). I will have to disconnect my Shopify FB and Instagram shops if this can't be resolved. It is the most infuriating thing. I highly recommend insisting that Meta provide access to a human who can help and not just block people who have been hacked. Please f please find a way to help us small business owners. I know I am not the only person who has experienced this. Thank you.

When this app is working, it's amazing. However, I consistently have to uninstall, reinstall because FB/Shopify can't figure out how to update w/out causing issues for the other side. It is extremely frustrating.
