They scrubbed my shopify website and sent spam mails advertising their plugin to all my email addresses. While this is not illegal, it's super annoying. Their 'support centre' website is full of broken links or standard texts. The user interface is not userfriendly and even after checking their website (and 'video') thoroughly, it's still not clear what service they're actually providing. I'd stay away.
First of all I'm very sorry that you felt the need to write a review of this nature, we clearly dont want anyone to have this sort of experience with our service.
But lets sort some facts out, you obviously have some sort of of problem with your website (they scrubbed my site) but this is categorically nothing to do with us. When you install our app you grant us 'read only' permissions to your product database. We can change nothing as regards your merchant storefront's configuration or data. What you are saying we have caused is completely impossible, please look elsewhere for the cause and do not throw accusations like this around no matter how dissatisfied you are with us.
I have looked into what you mentioned as spam emails - we sent a promotional email to I can see 3 email addresses on your domain, sorry if they all landed with a single recipient, we clearly will ensure you are not contacted again.
We provide a service to create product data feeds to drive digital advertising campaigns, again apologies that was not clear. Its a little bit puzzling that you had no idea what we provide yet you installed us despite this? Well sorry we couldnt help you, we will try to take some lessons from this & best of luck of for the future anyway.
I contacted them before installing the app and they assured full technical support.
Don´t tell customers, you will offer full technical support if you don't. This ended up being a confusing experience. After wasting hours, the app had to be uninstalled again.
I'm disappointed that you are not happy with your experience but I think we need to add our side here. We offer full support within the scope of our service, i.e. the building of feeds and their delivery, this is what is and was communicated.
You are trying to move from a full feed management service, where they also manage your connections to your channels, and you do not touch any aspect of the setup/ config of the feeds or their maintenance.
You are trying to move from a paid for service to ours which for you is completely free yet you are expecting exactly the same fully managed service? I'm sorry but I think your expectations are off-beam here and I think everybody reading this will think the same also.
