Had some trouble with customers getting my emails and getting access to my ebook. Contacted support and after giving them access to my shop they did everything for me, inputed all the info I needed, and resolved the ongoing issues I had! Now everything works perfect.
In just one day, all clients are unable to download files as they are flagged as 'infected.' We're now receiving more and more emails every hour from clients concerned that we may be spreading viruses. This issue is a significant setback for our company. Currently, the app is unusable, as even we are unable to download our own files.

It's been a week and all the problems have disappeared, it seems that the newest updates were truly needed for it to happen. We're really happy from the results, so the review goes back up to 5/5.
Hey there! Thanks for writing a review, and I'm sincerely sorry for the trouble. Unfortunately, one of the stores using Filemonk sold malicious content; our domain was then flagged by Google and we had to work through a security review to get it resolved. Within 24 hours of being made aware of the problem, we got it fixed and now we're working on a few more changes to ensure that this never happens again.
Filemonk operated on a trust-based system - we believed that most content sold is legitimate and there was no need to police it. But increasingly, I can see that we need to do better to protect our merchants and your customers. To that extent, we're introducing new moderation checks, introducing an acceptable content policy, changing how we handle downloads and email domains. It's the broadest set of changes on the security front in a long time.
I've sent a more detailed reply to your email with specific details on what we're doing. Please do take a look and I'd love to hear from you on it. Once again, sincerely sorry that we didn't do all of this ahead of the issue. In any case, my only priority is ensuring that this cannot happen again and we'll work as hard as we have to to make this true.

I've been really pleased with this app! The support is brilliant, they answered within minutes (I just had an issue with DKIM authentication) and they solved my problem within the hour. I love the customisation, the setup was easy and being able to change the templates is great. Files are issue to upload and link to products, overall 5 stars all the way!
I have had this app for months now. If you sell digital products, this is the only app for you. (Trust me, I've been through them all.)
When I first loaded the app, they were developing many new features. Yet, whenever I discovered something wonky, it was immediately fixed. The entire load and delivery funnel to clients is excellent.
The number of options goes way beyond that because the team at FileMonk listens to their clients!
The app deserves 10 stars, and the service deserves 10 stars. I sell tons of digital art, and this app opens up all the possibilities and ensures the client who paid receives a link to the products as soon as the payment is verified.
In other words, the path from Payment to delivery for this product is usually no more than 90 seconds.
There is nothing more one could ask for if you deliver any digital product, from art to books to any other digital type. It is one of the best apps on the entire Shopify app store.

App is amazing and tech support is the best I've received from any apps on the Shopify store. These guys are on the ball, patient, and extremely helpful. I had a few user error snags and it took minuites to figure out. Now the app is running smoothly and my customer are happy!
this app has been great and really easy to set up! I love all the features and customizations, like watermarking my files, adding download buttons and links where I want them, etc. The support is also great! They are really friendly and I've received help really quickly, taking care of any issues I've come across. They've also shared links to instructions on what they've done so I'm able to learn how to update things on my own in the future as well. Highly recommend!
