Shopify Flow

Useful for a layman to achieve some small-scale tasks like updating metafields and tags on customers/orders under specific conditions. Decent app integration, but generally, Workflow is easily outclassed by just developing a custom app.

I would give it 3 or even 4 stars if it weren't for the fact that lots of templates for advanced queries are so outdated that they don't even classify as deprecated fields. Other issues include certain trigger conditions not passing down all class info, and Shopify's syntax docs are often misleading or outright useless for solving lots of problems that are frequent with Workflows.

Great for quick automations. Needs more granular capabilities for devs with more lower-level experience. A native 'Parse JSON' action would be extremely helpful and same with some better version-control capabilities. I see there are checksums in the exported .flow files, but would be nice to have some better version control in the UI

Shopify Flow is extremely useful once you understand how the triggers, conditions and customer segments work. I’ve used it to build automated customer journeys for rewards, returning customers and anniversary emails. It gives a lot of control without needing a separate automation app. There is a learning curve, especially around wait limits and segment logic, but overall it’s a very powerful tool for Shopify stores.

Shopify Flow has been really great to have. I have been able to set up inventory alerts, flows to help launch sales, add tags, add products to collections and more. Plus, I'm sure there is a ton of other awesome stuff we can use Flow for.

An excellent productivity tool, only limited in some areas where Shopify is yet to provide triggers (purchasing) or access to other functions (customer segments).

Definitely wish there was some more capability, like being able to touch customer phone number instead of just email. App is good for setting up some helpful flows.

Sehr kompliziert. "Sending Mail" bleiben bei aktualisierung/Anpassung nicht erhalten und Vorlagen verknüpfen funktioniert nicht. Bei neuverknüpfung müssen alle Betreffs und Voransichten neu eingegeben werden, da in der Vorlage nicht vorhanden. Flows müssen an 3 verschiedenen Stellen aktiviert werden bis wirklich aktiv. Etc....

Love the help to create auto workflows! Helps me problem solve and saves so much time. Sets reminders, checks stock and alerts. Thank you for making my job easier and helping to fulfill customer orders faster.
