Below is the original review, which shortly after being published got me an email from my account representative looking to hear more about my appreciation. She was accompanied by the Director of Growth, and the three of us took had a dense 45-minute discussion about what could be improved and which improvements were just about to be rolled out. From the looks of it, it does seem like the user experience will be considerably improved, and I have to say I am looking forward to seeing them in action. Perhaps the most important aspect of this call was how the Clickship team and direction are dedicated to customer service, and this is all to their credit and goes a long way in terms of my appreciation of a supplier.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: This app is great news for saving on shipping. I am hugely appreciative of all the costs saved over the past 2+ years.
Customer service varies between "outstanding" and "meh". It really depends on who takes the call / email. Fortunately there's been more good than bad on average, so here goes one star.
The other star removed, and that's the most important one in my opinion, is on the customer experience on the platform. There are some basic navigating functionalities that are missing (having to click "X" to close a certain window instead of clicking outside of it, having to click "Enter" to run a particular search instead of hitting the key, the clunkiness of the order page which cannot be sorted by any other parameter than date when it would be relevant to sort orders by selected carrier or store or tag, the impossibility to easily add just one manual order to the order page instead of uploading a csv, the fact that you can't set orders temporarily "on hold" to see them removed from the cue).
It feels like an app designed by people who have never done any serious work at a shipping station.
The discounted shipping rates keep me using it, but I continue to miss a more Ux forward app like Shipstation.
This is by far the best shipping service we've used for our Shopify stores. Click Ship was a lifeline when dealing with the Canada Post strike and tariffs, made it so easy to continue shipping to the U.S.
We had great support from our rep, Phillip Xinos, who is quick to answer any questions I have.
This is a service we will continue to use and highly recommend.

We had to find another solution for shipping due to the Canada Post strike and was recommended ClickShip from a good friend. We signed up right away and was nicely helped by James Lang on the ClickShip team who answered all our questions and got us shipping within the same day! It has been easy to use and having it be able to pull our orders from Shopify has been very helpful, still allowing us to maintain our streamlined processes without too many extra steps. Allowing to ship from multiple different providers has also allowed us to get the best price, we were pleasantly impressed by the shipping discount as well. Highly recommend, thanks!

I'm going 2 stars most times it is good but using ICS is a gamble ICS delivered 2 x to the same client on the third they sent it back "no such address" no refund.

I have been with clickship for some time now. Customer service has been on a rapid decline.
For the fees paid you would think when an item is needing to be intercepted that it would not take several phone calls, several hours of pleading for help and being transferred here there and everywhere only to be notified 36 hours too late that your package "was at a holding facility" when really a fraudulent customer had managed to pick it up.
If you are going to be this late in communications with your less than desirable efforts, there is no point keeping your inadequate services.
