I left this 1-star review because they left the app on my store and caused major problems for me, I then got hassled for about 4 hours this evening through messenger and phone calls...
This included the owners of Gempages slagging off other apps and saying how superior theirs was and everyone else was garbage...
Then they started to insult me personally... calling me an idiot and not a businessman because I refused to play their game...
So this leads me to think how many other 1 star reviews did this shower get before they pressured and harassed reviewers to change their reviews...
They are not nice people... Especially Chris Koh Very Rude Guy...
So to make this perfectly Clear... One Star Review for Your Lousy Customer Service and your Ineptitude in doing what you are contracted to do.
2 days ago I contacted Shopify to remove this garbage and it's still there causing problems, every time I build a page out, the product gets hijacked by Gem, I rectify it, then publish, think everything is ok =, check my site and half my pages are missing. Gem has Hijacked them again... God, I wish I could give ZERO stars...
I used this page to create and customize the product pages and homepage for my store, as the default ones are too simple. It works well and always offers support great. Thanks Gempages.
It's an awesome apps, I was using shogun page before. And this is MUCH MORE POWERFUL and MORE FLEXIBLE and MORE EASY , and you can't believe that IT IS AT A LOWER PRICE. It's just too good to be true, but it happens.
Most of the time, it's hard to get help being in the States. However, if you're up late enough and can catch the team (different time zones), then they're really incredible with support. REALLY incredible. Ann + Janie have been awesome!
Amazing application – kind of. The freedom this application gives you in leaps and bounds ahead of Shopify's own page editor especially when you compound it with the features of your already existing theme. HOWEVER, I was never able to reedit any of my custom pages after creating and editing them the first time. They would never load and both Safari and Chrome would practically crash when the application would try to open a page that I had previously edited with GemPage. AKA, unless you plan to make a page and never update it, be prepared to completely trash your page and remake it with any updates.
I was trying to get a really personalized store to be able to integrate into mobile also. truly has been a lifesaver, especially the customer support (Tina has helped me along and has always helped me find a solution). Highly recommended, my store would not look half as good if it were not for this app and its ease off use!
Waste of time....I'm so mad I spent so much time to make it work. The basics like moving images around or even Ctrl+Z on hotkeys don't work XD you cant lock layers (rows) so when trying to click on things you just have all these pop-ups of underlying layers, you cant work. no one answeres in customer service...im just going to hire a developer, less hassle

I have had some problems with the editor of Gempages that did not work very well on my Lenovo computer. However I did experience great customer service that wanted to help me out with my problems, so that is definitely a plus.
No sirve.. No lo recomiendo.. fake, no lo uses .. es de lo pero. solo me hizo perder mi tiempo , no pierdan su tiempo
