After lots of back and forth with the app developers we eventually had to uninstall this app as they were unable to fix the issues that arose and it made gift cards unusable.

It seems that someone from your team later sent a gift card to the wrong recipient and disabled it, which caused it to become unusable. We completely understand how such things can happen and are happy to help you set everything back up correctly.

Gift Card Hero is by far the most comprehensive gift card app. It's built exactly how it needs to be, and the developers have thought of everything. The support is very fast and very helpful. I highly recommend any business with a gift card program to use Gift Card Hero!

*Updated* Adding another star due to great customer service. This product does have some quirks if you are using it POS plus online but Arthur has been great about assisting with work arounds.
From a functionality standpoint, this was the only app that provided the tools we needed and now that we have some work arounds in place, it seems to be working well (we're only 2 days in, so we have limited data but testing and early customer usage seems to indicate all is good). My biggest issue is the lack of documentation. That is somewhat offset by the prompt and responsive support I received from the GCH team, but I really prefer documentation to help better understand the product. I think general ecommerce stores will have no issues but we're a little more complicated and needed to deal with in store pre printed Shopify gift cards and how to navigate them within GCH (you really can't so we kept a our physical cards as a separate product). Even with some quirks, it's well worth it to have a POS compatible product with most of the gift card features that native Shopify is lacking.
