If I could rate 0, I would. In my personal experience, Rise.ai is shady and a company out to gouge the little guy. When a customer, like myself, sees "$0.20 an order" on their pricing page, I find it “convenient" how they don’t provide any other explanation about what that actually means, LOL! Until you get the $1,000 bill. As an extremely savvy Shopify website owner and Shopify app customer, when I read "$0.20 an order" that obviously means to me $0.20 an order made by an actual Rise.ai gift card, or, obviously when a Rise.ai gift card is purchased. Because let’s be honest, it would be INSANE for that to actually mean $0.20 of every order made in my shop haha. But it does. It means, regardless of their involvement, they will take $0.20 an order.

On what planet, in what galaxy, does Rise think they are entitled to $0.20 a damn order? Your app provides the LEAST amount of value of the 15+ apps I am currently using and your app is 5x -100x more expensive than my other apps even with a plan reduction.

AVOID Rise.Ai. Run.

If you are a retail store or extremely high volume store that needs to constantly issue credits/gift cards to customers then this might be for you. We found it looking for "loyalty" programs and found that at $600 for the year it was extremely bare bones and did not fit our business at all. All sorts of features available if you pay more but for a basic rewards, loyalty building app I would steer clear of this one.

I had sent in a 1 star review because they had charged my card a huge overcharge fee. I am amending that review now because Rise made things right and fixed the situation, giving me a plan that works with my business though is not an advertised plan. I did not understand that Rise takes a cut of EVERY order that comes through your Shopify, regardless if it is through your online store or your POS system in your brick and mortar stores. We are a coffee shop so as you can guess we have thousands of orders come through a month. Giving Rise a cut of every drink we make in our cafes would not be sustainable. If you are food and bev store like us or have a store with many small transactions a month I suggest you talk to Rise directly on a plan that would fit.

So far, so great! Been using the app for a couple of days and it's easy to navigate, there's tons of promo options and email response from the developers to my questions has been lightening quick. Excited to see how this boosts sales in my shop!

Our webshop is in Dutch and not everything was translated yet so we contact them for additional translations. Their support is great, fast and friendly! We like ;-)

By far the most kind & responsive support I have gotten an an app on shopify. Going to consider using this app as it is the best we have found so far and the experience so far has been amazing!!
