We've used this product for a couple years for the multi-address ship option and it's been great! We then started using the order printer, simple transition. Recently, we added the Box Builder and it's also working very well. Support has been amazing as we fumbled our way through adding these things ourselves.

These people actually got our glitch fixed and our website functions back on track - was a busy time of the year for us for the functions to be playing up, but they nailed it - Thanks Greg and Tim

I honestly don’t know how this app has so many 5-star reviews. I’ve been selling online for over 20 years, and I’ve worked with countless apps and developers to add custom functions to my stores. Out of all of them, this has been by far the most frustrating app and company I’ve ever dealt with.

The installation process was unnecessarily complicated and poorly explained. When I reached out for support customizing the step-by-step builder for our store, I constantly felt like I was being treated as a nuisance for asking questions — even though my questions were reasonable and directly related to making their product work.

It feels like the app was built by a group of tech people who released it into the App Store without any real plan for customer support. Their communication style was unhelpful at best and dismissive at worst. I found myself dreading having to email them, and I avoided it whenever possible.

On top of that, the default look of the builder was clunky and unattractive for a live storefront. I ended up hiring a third-party developer to redesign it entirely, which defeated the purpose of paying for this app in the first place.

In short: confusing setup, frustrating support, poor design, and a total lack of customer care. There are far better options out there.

We’ve been using the GiftShip app for some time now and have been impressed by the range of new tools that are consistently added and expanded upon. The team has been incredibly patient and supportive, offering assistance to us less technically inclined people, helping resolve style changes, app conflicts, and ensuring everything runs smoothly with the unique way our site is set up. The recent addition of the drawer cart, along with compatibility for delayed dispatch dates, gift messages, and split shipping to multiple addresses, has been particularly beneficial for our gifting business. Additionally, the app takes into account the fulfilment process from the admin side. When orders are passed through to our shipping portal, all items are listed in the correct order according to the customer’s gift box. This is particularly helpful when customers order multiple gift boxes, as it ensures our fulfilment team can quickly identify which items belong in each box, saving valuable time and preventing errors. Overall, GiftShip has made a significant impact on our efficiency and customer satisfaction.

We spent a long time looking for a gift message app that would meet our needs. Many gift message apps don't allow you to add 2 gifts to the basket with 2 separate gift messages, which was essential for us. Giftship does allow this and offers many other add-ons such as gift cards and upsells. Support were very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this app to anyone wanting a gift message app with advanced functionality.
