Jordan here from Shopify support. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of the Google channel app. Your feedback is incredibly valuable.

If you ever need any support with syncing your products through the Google channel, you can always click the "Get Support" button found in the top right hand corner of channel in your Shopify admin. However, I will send you an email to open the lines of communication where we can work together to successfully sync your products to Google.

I use this app to advertise my on-line store and I really like it. It gives me the chance to reach more customers faster and over a vast distance.

Had to try and set it up twice. Got frustrated, but by the second set-up, everything went smoothly. First set-up was operator error. Everything is syncing now and I am very pleased. Thank you Google Shopping!

At least a couple of times I've gotten to act "by accident", but only for a short time, until again comes the text "google suspended the account due to misrepresentation" I have tried to ask where the fault is when I simply can't think of? They respond "We have found that your account has been flagged as a misrepresentation policy violation. This policy suspension means that we've reviewed your Google Merchant Center account to determine that it doesn't comply with our Shopping policies and your Google merchant. The account has been rejected" On top of that, suddenly the logo is not valid either, even though the same logo has already been in use for at least a month. I have tried to change it many times, but nothing is valid. I have given up. Really lousy app and dares to pay for asking for the app, which doesn't work. I don't know if an online store can be run at all without google, if not, I have to stop before I've gotten properly even started, really having to head on when I've wasted money and time on something like this, which should be prohibited by law.

Absolutely awful. I received an email stating I must switch over from the Google Shopping App (which was working just fine), to the Google Shopping Channel by the end of January because it would be deleted. I contacted the gurus to voice my concerns from all the terrible reviews this was receiving. They insisted everything would be "just fine" and would work "without issues".

Because the transition was listed as mandatory, I went ahead at the advice of the gurus. The transition forces you to delete the Google Shopping App to continue. As soon as I did, all of my products went from approved to "Pending". It gave me a message saying it would take at least 3 days for Google to approve my products, even though it EXPLICITLY says in the Google Shopping Channel promotional information "Skip the 3 day Merchant Center Account approval process."

I immediately contacted the gurus about this and was informed that "hmmm that's strange." and "We aren't sure what's going on." They even indicated I had completed all the transition steps as necessary and it was still having issues.

It has already been a day and a half and still no word on my open ticket. This is a joke. I am extremely disappointed that Shopify would force this transition on its customers when it clearly isn't ready to be out of the testing phase.

So far it has met my expectations and I’m very happy with it. My experience with this app is magnificent.

Easy to use. Good for marketing. Reaches lots of customers. Everyone should use this app. Great for all kinds of businesses and especially small businesses. Google apps are the way to go for your company

Do not install the app "misrepresentation" issues like everybody else. Simply unusable; try something else.
