A real nightmare... Maybe usefull for small store with very few and common items AND at the launching time of the website.
I have 1000+ items with troubles in my shop... So it's totally useless.
For example :
1001 products didn’t publish to Google Shopping
View each product to learn how to resolve any errors.
Id product identifier issue: your product identifiers aren’t accurate..
Thanks for sharing this feedback with us. Based on the error you mentioned, it sounds like some of your products may be missing the required information (http://bit.ly/35H2pGQ) needed for products to be properly added to the Google Shopping channel.

I have read dozens of complaints about this app. And it is a shame that the issue wrt the interface with the Content API from Google is yet not resolved. There is quite some documentation on the Content API from Google and seems to me that this issue could have been addressed a while ago. Though not sure why it still is not. As a result all my products are rejected on Google Merchant Center!

I have been using Google Merchant Centre linked to my Shopify store for years and, until recently, it worked ok (with the odd glitch). More recently, however, all my products have expired for no reason, the product pages show that Google feed is not linked with an error message of "Add shipping cost for your product" (even though my shipping options have not changed) and I cannot even link to my existing GMC account through the app. This is not good enough.

Trying to install but the “get” button just goes to a page that says, “the app you’re looking for cannot be found”.
I've had thousands of my Shopify products in my Google Merchant center successfully for more year or two with no problems. My website is Claimed (green checkmark) and email verified (green checkmark). All the sudden my products are removed, and Shopify says my Merchant Center has been suspended, even though when I log into my Google Merchant Center admin it says I'm a "trusted store" and that there are no issues listed (other than lack of products now). I've also not received any emails notifying me of any problems or any indications as to why my products are suddenly removed. So I disconnected Google from within Shopify and re-connected it and now Shopify says my website is claimed by someone else even though it's successfully claimed by me in the Google Admin (green checkmark). I've contacted Shopify and Google, and have heard from no one with any solution to this. Can someone please help? I just want to get my products back in Google Merchant Center. Thanks! I got all my account suspend by google merchant. All my google merchant does not work now and when you talk to support, no one is able to help you on the shopify team. Furthermore, it creates new merchant account on google by itself. I am removing it .

This app should be a simple, seamless integration with Google Shopping Ads, Google Free Listings, and Buy on Google. It isn't. We have products with variants that have a unique UPC for each variant. All of our products with variants are active without errors in Google Shopping Ads and Google Free Listings.
Buy on Google is dropping all of our products with variants with the reason being Duplicate Variant. Zero guidance on how to correct or what exactly they think is wrong with the feed being provided that Google created the code for.
Are you wondering why there are so many 1 star reviews? Maybe it's because merchants assume Google would know how to create an app for Shopify stores that actually works properly with Google Shopping Ads, Google Free Listings, and Buy on Google.

Not a good app for stores with many products. We have more than 10,000 products and were constantly fighting with Google over their numerous automated error alerts. We were threatened several times by Google of removing us from the index all-together. We no longer advertise on Google and don't bother with Google shopping anymore. Shopify is far more flexible with their data requirements than Google is, and so it is far too much work to get every single item to comply with Google. Save yourself a lot of grief and don't install this app.

No content API updates since Dec 29th and now all of our products risk expiring in Merchant Center. I will strongly consider switching to a competitor platform after over 5 years of business with you if this is not fixed imminently. This incompetence may result in us not being able to advertise our products which is mandatory to generate sales.
Please get this fixed ASAP.
