Not optimized. This app is not ready. It's not clear on how to change fields and what fields show up where. To my knowledge you can't change fields for Google without changing fields for your normal product. I guess I could create a ghost product, but WTF? It's not producing any sales, not providing options to improve results, no data. This is just not ready to be an "app" on Shopify. Very disappointed. I feel like Google just stole money from me and Shopify opened the door.
So far so good. Implementation was easy enough and the app is fairly intuitive. Was able to get an ad campaign up and running right away.
I am not able to understand the google ad create code as it is already created again it's asking to do that...why so?

Your new Google Shopping app, unlike the old one (no longer supported) has some holes in it.
Products in my feed do have GTINs
Error Message I'm getting is: "Barcode gtin missing: gtin is required for this product".
Issues:
1. GTIN numbers are are transferred to Google Shopping campaigns
2. There is no way to enter (re-enter) GTIN in a window "Edit Google Shopping fields", GTIN field MUST be added to that window PLEASE. That field is missing.
Currently Google REQUIRES BOTH: MPN number AND GTIN or a product will be rejected.
Is someone still working on improvements to your Google Shopping App, or should I resort to other paid apps.
I say: Do not install !!!
The old app was working OK.
There should be a way to choose between the two.
Very helpful advertising, good metrics to look at and review every day. Actionable things to take care of such as impression to conversion ratio, cost per click, etc etc
I haven't seen the results yet, but setting it up was extremely user friendly. I didn't have to find my ID's, codes, or anything. They all became readily available with a push of a button. THANK YOU GOOGLE.
