I have had nothing but issues with this app. I have made all the requested changes, still not able to get it up and running correctly. I have even had an e-comm professional help me build my shopify account and install this app. Still doesn't work. About ready to give up.

Below review submitted one year ago and the issue is still not fixed.

As far as syncing products the app works great. Issues arise when you have a large number of products - thousands to be exact. We are currently at 6101 SKUS and when attempting to bulk edit in the app it freezes once we reach product 1100 and provides a "Page Unresponsive" error from Shopify. Google Tech Support has verified all is fine on their end so this issue is definitely on Shopify's end and seems to only appear when you have more than 1000 products. Others that have left reviews seem to have run into the same issue with this app. They told me this would be fixed by this morning and it is not. With other reviews encountering the same issues in the past months, it is evident Shopify is unwilling or unable to correct the issue. I would look elsewhere. Wish Shopify would take care of issues with their platform as opposed to aesthetics. Shopify platform and support have deteriorated a great deal over the past 3-4 years.

Updated Response 1 year later: Hi again! Unfortunately this is a Shopify bug, not a bug on our app. I know you still are having this issue, but we only own the app, not the bulk editor page you are using, so rating our app as 1 star won't help to fix their tool any faster.

As you pointed out, that portion is actually owned by Shopify but we will be sure to pass on the feedback to their relevant product teams. One workaround you may find useful in the meantime is using the import/export feature available on the Shopify Product page. I like the setup of adding product on there lol it seems pretty simple and looking at it as another traffic stream.

We have been using this app for over a year. However, in December 2021 we noticed that customers were using discount codes that are for internal employees, friends and families. It turns out that any 'active' discount code is being sent to Merchant Center and they in turn open it to the universe. We had to inactivate all our discount codes except for just a few. We had to cancel multiple orders where customers used them. Bad time of year, bad customer relations. We reported it immediately on that day (Dec 10) and have not gotten any word from support since. Multiple shops have reported this problem to no avail. Would be great to give the shop owner the ability indicate what channel the codes can be 'shared' on. Currently we are operating at a big disadvantage with no ability to treat our mailing list customers special.

We appreciate hearing feedback like this as our team is working towards a permanent resolution to this issue. We do currently have a workaround which is to end the promotions within the Google Merchant Center. I'll follow up with you directly via email to discuss your account.

The setup was really easy, there was an issue syncing shipping settings initially but in the end it worked.

Be very careful if you update to this app, their is not ability to edit fields in the app, particularly " description" , its so clunky and now needs to be driven from product or collection page. The feature to only publish certain collections has been moved out of the app. Shopify are normally so good, but they really have dropped the ball here. This migration will cost you money. I would wait until they fix the bugs. So irritated i'm considering changing to another platform.

Hi Digital3d.com.au, thank you for sharing this feedback. You are correct in saying in editing the google shopping fields from within the app, it will bring you directly to our product page. However you can use the bulk editor option in the Shopify Admin to make mass changes. I’ve also followed up with you by email to log your feedback for our development team and to demonstrate this bulk editor in more detail for you but in summary, you can go to:

> Click Products in the Shopify Admin.
> Select your products in bulk by clicking the white square beside each product title.
> Click the "edit products" button.
> In the bulk editor, select the fields you want to modify. Then save your changes.

Hopefully that helps, but I will also email you to go more in depth with this for you.
