Not good at all. Some people's stores will have products that this app will work fine on but for many this is useless. So many errors with no help to solve. Shopify help is useless with this app. The Shopify Academy training makes you think that this app just works and you get the desired result. Not true. A super-lazy effort on this app, on training in the academy and on support. Trying this Google Shopping App just wasted my valuable time trying to understand it and to make it work. I've uninstalled it and gotten Google Shopping Feed. Works much better and has software that fixes all the errors. Just check their support for how to use that software. Their support people know everything and will answer your email in less than an hour.

Shopify is forcing us to use this app when the 'unsupported' version met our needs. After being forced to delete the old version and upload the new version, I now have to wait 10 days for my products to be approved. Is Shopify going to foot the bill for lost sales?

There were so many errors with my product feed that my Merchant Center account was immediately suspended. Suspended! This app really is as bad as the other 1-star reviews, I'm so shocked it was created by Shopify.
The app pulled data from all of the wrong fields and there is absolutely no way to check why or how that happened. Not to mention, if you do make a mistake on your own data entry there's no way to resend the feed once you make corrections - especially not if your account's been suspended! There's like no functionality or action buttons in the app. Just a connection that you have to trust is working.
It didn't pull the SEO data as requested, but instead sent the super long descriptions on my website that had html coding, etc. Really weird.
So, I found myself waiting for Shopify's tech team to research the errors while also waiting for Google to respond to my request for reinstatement - but in reality I had no improvements or answers for Google in order to explain why my product feed was so poorly done!

Love the idea of adding another sales channel to my shopify webstore. However, as many here have stated, I could not get the app to sync properly to my website. It gives me an error message and the Google folks weren't a lot of help either. Told me it's a shopify issue. Can't get through to shopify on the phone. I have worked on this for several hours and I'm done! Deleting the app. Should have review the 1.4 stars first..... My bad!
This app does not sync products with existing Google Merchant Accounts. Every single one of my items was marked "not approved". Then, to add insult to injury, my existing Google Merchant Account was suspended and the link within the Google Channel on Shopify to "Request Re-Review" sent me to a page within Google that never loads. It also appears that my Google Merchant Account shipping settings were somehow changed and then sent back to Shopify. Even though I only sell digital items (which require no shipping), my order notifications from Shopify now have an unnecessary and unwanted "Create Shipping Label" button. I have uninstalled the app and hopefully that cleans up all the problems because I don't want to waste any more time with this mess.

Never came across so terrible app like this one. Waited for days to get my product approved just showing pending.
Do not install this app. The products don't sync to your feed and it DELETES your existing feeds, so you pretty much have to start from scratch with your google merchant account if you use this app. How does shopify seriously roll out functionality like this that is clearly broken!
I installed the Google sales channel in my Shopify store. Did everything Google requested to be in compliance. All my products keep getting kicked back disapproved due to invalid barcodes. Barcodes are valid and issued from my supplier. In the process of trying to get it resolved my Google ads account was SUSPENDED. Not once but twice. Still trying to get the suspension resolved is a complete and total waste of time and inconvenience.It seems I am not the only one having issues with invalid bar codes this app shouldn't even be listed on the store until the issues with Google can be fixed.

Even if your store runs in USD do not waste your time with this app it is a complete mess. We were running successful Google Shopping campaigns with the old Google Shopping app but were forced to upgrade to this new one. Almost all our valid UPC numbers were being reported as not valid gtin numbers after the switch. Shopify support said they must not be valid, but some were working while others not but all UPC numbers were purchased in the same batch. We provided proof of the actual UPC scans to show they were entered correctly but Shopify still says the problem is on our end. Going to switch to a different feed app and see what happens then, will update this review with the results.
June 9th update: We installed the Google Shopping feed app from Adwords Robot and everything is working great again. Nothing changed on our end so our UPC numbers were not invalid as reported by the Shopify Google Shopping app. Really disappointed with Shopify support in regards to this app, they are usually great but in this case they either couldn't or wouldn't address the real problem and forced us to find a different solution. Maybe this app works correctly when you're starting a new store but it definitely did not work for us.
Can not connect with my Shopify account. Plain sucks. Shopify does not even have a way for customer support. Seem like a glitch to me
