Avoid it if you can, or at least make it your last priority. I wish I tried to manually set myself up on google rather than use this tool.

Is currently the slowest 3rd party app on my site, will not work out of the box (and may do 'weird' things like add multiple pixels and then connect to the wrong one), and there is 0 support (no contact for months, once I had an employee invite me to a meeting and then not show up) for when your account inevitably gets flagged by some faulty automation.

As far as syncing products the app works great. Issues arise when you have a large number of products - thousands to be exact. We are currently at 6101 SKUS and when attempting to bulk edit in the app it freezes once we reach product 1100 and provides a "Page Unresponsive" error from Shopify. Google Tech Support has verified all is fine on their end so this issue is definitely on Shopify's end and seems to only appear when you have more than 1000 products. Others that have left reviews seem to have run into the same issue with this app. They told me this would be fixed by this morning and it is not. With other reviews encountering the same issues in the past months, it is evident Shopify is unwilling or unable to correct the issue. I would look elsewhere. Wish Shopify would take care of issues with their platform as opposed to aesthetics. Shopify platform and support have deteriorated a great deal over the past 3-4 years.

Die ständige Ablehnung von Produkten und nicht behebbare Fehlern nerven mich. Außerdem von der akzeptierte Produkten wird immer nur das eine selber Produkt angeklickt, ergo es wird nur das eine einzige Produkt in der Suchergebnissen angezeigt. Also ich persönlich mag Google & Co nicht.

Linking this app in Shopify is utterly impossible if your shopify admin email address does not match your google ads and google merchant center email addresses.

Google offers no useful support at all so don't count on any help from them. I have sent numerous emails to their support center and they just push me around in circles with no resolution in sight, after weeks of trying.

Stay away from this app if any of your email addresses (in shopify, google ads or google merchant center) is different from the others. Perhaps the app works but i will never know because there is no useful support at all.

We spend thousands of Euro with Google every month, but get no support in return. Very disappointed.

I wanted to provide a bit of context as to why we have this requirement around matching emails and why it is done to protect our merchants. The reason we require the admin emails in Merchant Center, Ads, Analytics to match when linking to Shopify is to prevent fraud and any unauthorized account takeovers.

I do see you have had multiple support cases with us and have asked our support leads to take a closer look at your most recent, open case to ensure it is handled properly and hopefully resolves your account linking issue. Thank you again for the review and feedback.

The app is terrible for those who have products with multiple variations. I have products that have 40 variations (considering color and size), as they are clothing items. It doesn't recognize either color or size in the variations and limits the display on Google. Moreover, the useful feature that allowed mapping what was size and color has disappeared.

I can't believe that two major companies like Google and Shopify, leaders in their respective sectors, could have such a poor integration. Many other platforms, even smaller and local ones, have a better integration.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you have had a frustrating experience with the app. Color and Size are editable within the Shopify product page in the "Variants" section. You can also add new variants there.

Additionally, we are excited about some forthcoming features launching soon that will make it easy for you to edit products and variants from within the app. Please stay tuned for those.

I've been using the app since earlier this year when I created my store. I didn't run into many issues other than the occasional missing gtin or a product being disapproved. I sorted it all out, 100% of my products were approved and only several were not (only for dynamic retargeting). Fast forward several months later, I go to check on my products in the google merchant center and I see that my account has been suspended due to: Misrepresentation.

I thought maybe this happened because I ran into a issue with Shopify that same day where it said I had to add a CAA record to my domain. But nope, I do not think so. The account suspension reason that google provided is vague. It lists many possibilities why my account could have been suspended but not THE reason. So, I honestly do not know why. I tried to message google to see if I could get an explanation but the only thing, I got in return was automated responses linking their misrepresentation policy.

I decided to search for user experience regarding the issue and behold I found nothing but nightmare stories. Most users seemed to have never gotten their issue resolved and gave up. Thus, leaving their account suspended forever.

The strange thing is that my account was perfectly fine for five months straight. I didn't change anything, only added, or removed products. Then out of nowhere I get this. It's kind of sad. I'm not sure if I will be able to use the google and YouTube app ever again. And for a reason I'm not even aware of.

I'm a small business and it's a nightmare to have to deal with automation repeatedly and left in the dark about alleged issues. It seems like it might be impossible to fight issues such as this.

No support or any details whom to contact. Need someone to get back to me, this thing has created 3 tags that I do not recognize and have no Idea how to remove them. Deleting the app does nothing.

This app doesn't allow me to complete the set up integration with google and YouTube. There is no easy way to contact google about this issue. If I cannot finish the setup or contact google for help, what is the point in having this app as an option to add to my site on Shopify?
