Did not load any of my products never worked for me. It sat there doing nothing at all. Deleted this app.

All products available on your online store will be synced to the Google Shopping app. Typically, Google can take up to 10 business days to review and approve these products. This application has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had. You're much better off with a manual feed. Products take 15+ days to approve, the interface is terrible, not very compatible with merchant center (products show pending in shopify but not in merchant center) and the best part is that neither google or shopify have any insight on how to resolve any errors that come up. After two months of trying, I deleted this app. Save yourself the time and don't use this.

I have had this app since August with no problems. Now I receive a message stating "Your account violated the circumventing system policy," and "We've detected suspicious payments in your account." I have not touched anything since setting up the account and received these messages. When I reach out to them, the explanations are extremely vague. I ended up deleting all merchandise, reentering my credit card information, making sure I do not have multiple ad accounts, and still cannot use Google Ads. The merchandise is not showing up in this app like it is supposed to. I really do not see how I benefit from the app and I see no purpose in having it. Not sure if this is a Shopify issue or a Google issue, in terms on how they connect. I just know I have no issues with using Facebook for virtually the same thing. I know I am not the biggest business, but Google needs to make things a little more user friendly.

Hi Shopify, There seems to be a problem where if dont have a custom product and you dont input the MPN, the App will not send the Barcode/GTIN over to Google.
This problems seems to have been here for a month or two now. If you input the Barcode/GTIN into the MPN and not Ticking the custom product, Google Merchant Center will then get the GTIN.
This is just not a reliable fix if you work with +5.000 products, and you get edit this is bulk. You have to edit in manually pr. product which is not worth the time compared to downloading, buying and paying for another app.

First off, look at all the 1-star reviews! I"ve had so many issues getting this set up both with Shopify and with Google technical support. Setup was complicated and support on both sides was slow to respond (1+ days for a simple question). There is no phone number to call to talk to anyone. Every time I updated settings as recommended by both Shopify and Google support, something else would break. Error messages and support pages are hard to understand. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND setting this up - it was a complete waste of time as I've poured about 4 weeks worth of time trying to get this to work.

It doesn't work. Products are constantly disapproved and its near impossible to work out the errors. It then tells you your google account has been suspended for policy violations. I'm "trying " to sell clothing, its non offensive, so there should be no issues.

Die App ist seit dem 2 Januar Schrott keine API Syncro mehr, shopify weiss selber nicht was los ist. Leider bis jetzt keine Hilfe bekommen.
Simply does not work. Google requires a GTIN code and if left empty all your products will be disaaproved. Also takes a week for the feed to load any changes and review. Not worth the effort, make use of alternative apps on the App Store to feed to Google

Paola here from Shopify. I completely understand that the Google Channel requires lots of details from your product and that this can be an overwhelming experience. However, the app was build with your feed's best performance in mind. If you are selling custom products that do not have GTIN, you can still use the Google Channel. I cannot get any support for this app. Shopify tell me to contact Google and give me a contact link. Google tell me they cannot do anything and tell me to contact Shopify, (because it is Shopify who actually created the app, not Google).. Even when talking to a Google representative, they can't seem to help with Google merchant, ads or analytics, or help me to integrate this with Shopify correctly. I just keep getting messed around and not one can do anything.. Initially the Google channel did work for a month when I first integrated it. But after I paused the smart shopping ads for a month, it was never able to work again. However it still says active and I cannot remove the campaign or start a new campaign (because it tells me I already have a campaign running).. I have problems with Gtins and barcodes as well, I've updated them numerous times and still I have problems with this. It is incredibly frustrating and depressing that I cant get any help from Shopify or Google to assist me to properly integrating the google shopping ads, which are fundamental to getting traffic to my store and making sales. Same with the Ebay app as well. It just doesn't integrate properly with Shopify, and no one seems to be able to fix it. It feels like Shopify is easy to add a few images and text to your site, but incredibly hard to use to actually run a business that makes sales through advertising products.

Cannot get google to accept my refund policy and terms and conditions going on 3 month.... written 8 times to only get automated emails sending my to the pages i started from.
