No content API updates since Dec 29th and now all of our products risk expiring in Merchant Center. I will strongly consider switching to a competitor platform after over 5 years of business with you if this is not fixed imminently. This incompetence may result in us not being able to advertise our products which is mandatory to generate sales.

Please get this fixed ASAP.

I have been trying to fix an issue with my custom items not showing up because Google thinks they should a GTIN or MPN and they do not. I have contacted both Shopify and Google about it. I've tried everything they recommended and they still cannot tell me why my items are asking for this. They're all marked as custom items. I am beyond frustrated.

this is a nightmare. I set it up and it unverified my domain with google and I cant re-verify it. Traffic has dropped as a result. This needs testing before made available to shops. Such a terrible product.

My old app was FINE and everything published. New app did not publish some of my products and now they are NOT APPROVED. CMON shopify! You can do better than this. Work out the quirks before doing a HASTY RELEASE! Your messing up stores doing this!

Thank you for sharing this feedback! I understand how frustrating the wait can be. Typically, Google can take up to 10 business days to review and approve these products. Every product is reviewed individually so it can occasionally take longer. If you find products stuck in the pending status for 2 months, you can check in your Google Merchant Center to see if it's pending. If it is not, reach out to Shopify Support and our technical team can take a look. If it's stuck in pending, it is recommended that you reach out to Google to understand the reason as it is Google that reviews the products. That being said, I’ve followed up with you via email so we can take a closer look at this issue. I hope to hear back from you soon!

Unable to get any support on this Shopify App. GTIN's are not properly syncing to the merchant center which has caused Google to suspend my account.

I don't recommend the app, since shopify events are not sent over to adwords. Shopify support said they cannot help with google analytics and sent me a bunch of links, when I asked for support for a shopify app. When we analyzed oue raw data in shopify we found 3x conversion from google ads than ads or google analytics showed. This is _owned data_, that should be provided to where you place your bets. This place is google ads (& GA). This idea ("one click google ads setup") of this app is excellent, the performance & support are not.

The channel does not have an association with the Google Analytics part of Google's platform. Oh my god. What a struggle this app is. You might think that an app built by Google would be the perfect solution for including Google ads and google merchant account.

The reality is: it’s the worst solution. Attribution for ads is the worst our store has ever seen. Merchant account sync is the only useful thing about this. There is no fixing any of the Google ads or Google analytics problems. Their support policy is basically “screw you”.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with attribution tracking on the Google & YouTube App. There are a number of reasons why GA4 conversion or attribution tracking may differ from other dashboards such as UA or Shopify analytics.
