Hyperspeed EXTREME Page Speed

I was on the fence about this app for a minute. After the first theme changes were published, some of the images on my collections pages disappeared and our PageSpeed barely moved at all. But after reaching out to a lot of my concerns. We figured out that since my theme already had LazyLoad, implemented it twice was causing the image glitch. We turned it off in the app and that brought our images back. Orlando did some more digging around a found a few ways to increase our PageSpeed score (currently at 44 up from 22). We're still working on it, but I'm much more comfortable keeping the app in place knowing I have competent tech team behind the curtain.

WOW! This app really does make a huge difference to your website. Since installing Hyperspeed a couple of weeks ago we've seen a noticeable improvement in page loading speeds. There's been a significant improvement with page speed scores on the "How fast is my website" sites, both for mobile and desktop. The customer support is excellent. I've been using this app for a long time without the Lazy Load feature turned on and that alone made my site faster. I just turned on the Lazy Load feature and wow, this is much faster. I needed tech support on the Lazy Load only because I had not used the feature and have had the app for over a year. The tech support guy fixed it right away even though it was night time at their end. This app continuously monitors for changes in CSS, js, code changes, photo uploads, etc and optimizes your site automatically depending on what you have selected to be monitored. You do not have to use every feature, but I am and it working great. There is a preview mode so you can check your entire store out before you implement any changes. I highly recommend this app!

I installed this app a few days ago because my store speed was at a horrible 29. After installing this app more score speed jumped up to 33. I reached out to the Hyperspeed app support to see what else could be done and they responded immediately with additional changes and recommendations for me. Because of their fast and very helpful support, my speed score went from 29 three days ago to 44 as of today. What a great improvement. On top of this, I really like the fact that the app makes a preview of your theme to review and ensure everything is working correctly before you actually make any permanent changes. I am hoping that I can continue to work with their support to keep increasing my store speed but I am extremely happy with the app and customer support so far.

I wish I had found Hyperspeed sooner! I've been to other 'speed experts' who told me I would need to remove apps to further improve speed. These were important apps I need, like Chat, Klaviyo, Facebook Pixel? No way... I was bummed until I learned of Hyperspeed in a random internet post while researching Shopify optimization. My site did not start out raw, it had already been run through by a respected speed expert. Images were already compressed, the low hanging fruit had been picked. I was not expecting anything remotely impressive. Well, I was WRONG. I would give this app 10 stars if I could. It cut my loading time by more than HALF and I did not have to remove ANY apps to get there. GtMetrix score and even Google page speed are now MUCH higher. I can already see my conversion rates on the climb. I expect SERP improvement as well, my site was embarrassingly slooooooow. The app is very intuitive. I installed it in the evening and there were some issues that needed to be ironed out. It's very safe because all changes live in a review that can be tested before publishing. At no point did I feel I was putting my site at risk during the process. Alex from hyperspeed was quick to respond to my questions and was able to get things working perfectly. This took a few back and forth reviews/edits but he stayed with me until after MIDNIGHT. Some of the best support I've received as a certified app/extension junky and I've been at this for nearly a decade. This app is a total no brainer and will more than pay for itself month after month. OUTSTANDING!

Within 20 minutes my speed test went up from 50 on desktop to 80-85.

I have had an amazing experience with Hyperspeed so far. The app is smart, powerful, and capable of doing things that a lot of other similar apps cannot do. I particularly like how 'safe' the app is. You always have the ability to roll back the optimisations, and there are warning messages all over the place to make sure you don't do anything stupid. Customer support has been superb so far, too.

It wreaked havoc in our store. The "optimization" process reset the images so we lost a third of our products in the Google Shopping feed which ended up causing problems with all our Ad campaigns. Of course, they are blaming Shopify for this issue but coincidentally, it only happened after installing this app. If that wasn't enough, while the app was installed, several customers complained that the site was down and it ended up costing us thousands of dollars in sales. We are still dealing with the consequences.
Needless to say, try this at your own peril.
