A must have! Optimization only took a couple of minutes for 130 images. I can definitely tell there's an increase in speed! Awesome app.

This app optimizes images without sacrificing quality. Easy to install and use. Pricing is reasonable.
I tested my site speed before using this app, it was 22% faster than sites tested. And after it was 87% faster. I still have some work to be done, but this app saved me space and speed.
Great app! It saved 35% optimizing almost 600 images for only 6 bucks! Fair cost for an improvement in my site load time. I did nothing and that is great. They even ask how much more you want to spend in the future, so you control your expenses no matter how many new products you upload to your store.
I believe that's what an app has to do for you.

it's not compressing the gallery or in the pages images
and it's not showing which image is compressed

Our app can automatically compress Product, Collection, Asset, and Blog Post Featured images. Unfortunately, Shopify doesn’t allow access to the images stored in the Shopify Files section. This means that we can’t optimize them automatically, and you should compress them manually before uploading to Shopify. We created a special tool for this task - “Manual File Uploader”. It is an easy-to-use tool which allows compressing your banners in our app with the same image compression algorithms.
Our app also provides detailed optimization history and can be easily accessed through our dashboard: App - Dashboard - Optimization history.

great app, if you run a store 100% recommend doing this, the few cents it cost is worth it. The only recommendation i have would be on the dashboard, it would be great if it showed you the load time per page that was reduced. for example if before optimizing load time was 5 seconds and after optimizing load time went down to 3 seconds that would be great to see.
I did not find it to be worth the cost.
I started using image optimizer today which was very straightforward to use. I also contacted support for some assistance with the slider images on our homepage who managed to direct me to the right tools to reduce their size down from 4 mb to 294 kb which is brilliant. My page load time has reduced significantly.
