Works great and I'm so happy this exists now. It would be great if the customer got a red notification on the chat button showing they got a response from us if they closed the chat window

This app really is badly made. Lots of 'American' phrases in the text that can't be edited (you should at least be able to edit the button text! but you can't). Very poor for a Shopify official app.

I'm sorry to hear you're not having a good experience with Shopify Chat currently.

Shopify Chat's button text will automatically translate to whatever language your Shopify theme is set to.

Just enabled chat 2 hours ago and have already received 8 spam messages. What can we do to block these spammers?

Spam messages are often an unfortunate inevitability when you open up lines of communication on your store, but you can block messages within Inbox when you see that they are spam. You can also enable Google reCAPTCHA on your store to prevent bots from contacting you: https://shopify.link/2drP. -Victor, Shopify Support

The app is straightforward and easy to install, as well as customize. However, the usefulness is severely limited for non-iOS users, even with the new desktop Ping release. At minimum, the ability to set an availability schedule is a must. Will gladly re-evaluate once the feature set is improved.

Yes, Android is more limited at the moment, however we will definitely be releasing the same features that are currently available on IOS devices. Please keep the app updated so you have those as soon as they are released.

Only for iOS. No Android version. This is very disappointing since Android still owns more than 50% market share - more than iOS.

Prima. Nog zoekende naar wat instellingen die aangepast moeten worden. Standaard een naam en e-mail vragen werkt niet laagdrempelig.

Terrible application...It's was not possible to uninstall it at all ... I never seen so terrible application....I should connect with shopify support....

Sorry to hear that you are frustrated with Shopify Chat.

Shopify Chat is a sales channel. To remove a sales channel in your Admin go to Settings > Sales Channels, and click the trash can beside the sales channel that you want to remove.
