There is no sound notification when a message arrives. Its bad

We understand that this is frustrating as you should be able to receive notifications with sound for Inbox.
Within Inbox settings you can check that your "Push notifications (desktop and mobile)" are enabled. On your mobile device, you also need to have the sound notifications enabled under your general phone settings.

Very slow response!!
This is the most annoying POC for a business
I can't get the Chat bubble to disappear from my website home page. It hides the language preference icon and makes navigation difficult. I've asked for help several times and have been waiting for an answer for a week, but nothing happens. I'm really disappointed. This application is neither user-friendly nor logical.

Am Anfang waren wir von der App begeistert. So konnten wir über eine App alle Shops gleichzeitig mit einem Chat ausstatten. Aber sein einiger Zeit meldes sich die App einfach ab. Die Sitzung wird abgemeldet auf dem Handy. Das große Problem davon ist, dass man nicht merkt dass sich die App abgemeldet hat. Jetzt schreiben Kunden die kurz vor einem Kauf stehen und irgendwelche Fragen haben und wir können darauf nicht antworten, da die App sich von selbst abgemeldet hat. Sehr ärgerlich, da wir ja auch im Chat und im unseren ganzen Marketing Scheiben, dass wir in Echtzeit sofort antworten.
There's no way to restrict notifications from reaching you at all hours! Even if you set the times the chat is "available" you still get a notification on the app every single time a customer messages no matter the time. This is a basic feature they should have.

Currently we do not have a way to restrict notifications during certain hours within our app. A solution for the time being could be to snooze notifications on your device during your unavailable hours. On iOS this is set under the "Focus" settings (i.e. you can silence the Inbox app specifically during certain hours). On Android this should be called "notification snoozing".

Sehr altbacken, wenige Einstellungsmöglichkeiten und Desktop nicht gleich mit Mobile Version!
I've been using this app since the beginning and then suddenly the chat bubble disappeared. I tried everything to fix it, I even reinstalled the app, but it didn't work.
In addition to the app being rubbish (like most Shopify apps), now the same can definitely be said for Shopify support. The Get Support link just doesn't work (504 Gateway Time-out).
It's sad to see the former e-commerce giant turn into a worthless platform that has clearly lost all strings.
EDIT:
I finally got support and the most shameless answer possible. Of course, they shifted the blame to another app with the excuse that some scripts were added on April 15th that are causing the problem.
Of course, that is a plain LIE because Inbox ceased to function long before that date.
Besides they don't know how to make apps and maintain them, now they have started to shamelessly LIE to users! Liars and hypocrites. As a platform they have become plain garbage and only useful to Plus users, but they make billions from us, regular users.
This may be a good app, I may be able to add that when I figure out how to use it. An app without detailed instructions is USELESS and I am shocked at the absolute lack of instruction for setup, bad navigation, and how customers are supposed to somehow just figure this out. This is true of my entire shopify experience but they are not alone, most providers today seem to think that developing a next gen solution should not include instructions on how to use it.
Shopify has decided that we no longer need to see statistics of how our staff are doing in Shopify inbox and removed:
1. Average response time
and mainly
2. Sales
Why would you even think that we don't need to see performance of this sales channel?
Shopify support was NOT able to solve this.
