We are currently in testing mode with this app and most of the features appear to function well and it will be very useful. However, a couple of issues that we've run into is that it doesn't appear that the customer is able to clear their chat history easily. New chat messages seem to be stacked endlessly on previous messages. Also, notifications seem to be hit or miss.

In regards to your notifications error, this could be caused by a couple of factors. You may want to try re-installing Shopify inbox to see if you are still getting those issues, it could also be an issue with receiving emails from your email provider or Internet service provider.

Once you installed shopify ping on your phone then login to your store from your phone to link to your store then the app works fine.

Can answer any questions quickly rather than waiting via normal email.
Doesn't appear to be any way to set availability on IOS either, and that is very frustrating. Customers are reaching out at all times of the night we are not able to answer at those times.

On IOS, you can set chat availability in your app settings, but the Android version does not have this feature yet. We are working on adding more options and features in the near future, so definitely keep your app up to date!

It's class!

So far, so good. The application has worked great and right after setting it up I already had multiple messages. Really think it helps inform customers of our product and probably will convert to sales.
pas mal
It works really well, but it was a little tricky to work out why multiple staff were getting notifications. I worked out it's actually set via Staff Permissions in Shopify, so all good now.
Easy to use. Love it :)
