it would be better if customers could send a picture or file at the chat. hope it has the improvement asap.

The app is good and functions - but the customization is severely lacking. Our shop is all digital goods so we don't have tracking numbers or order tracking, however there is no option to remove "Track My Order" instant answer. You also can't customize simple text fields that should be customizable. Fix those, and the app will be great.

We are currently using this app. It is okay, we are hoping they will add some more features like, change the sound when a chat comes through, as it is quite low and quick, its easy to be missed. We with their was the option to not be notified when someone updates their cart or returns to the store etc. Would also be a lot better if the offline chats filtered through to an email so you could easily respond to customers who have left a message overnight.

I would have given it a 5 star, but reason for not giving a 5 star that it is missing on a very basic feature of attaching files thru desktop version on chat with customers. A customer sitting at home uses mobile for shopping in most of the cases and a seller is almost working on laptop/desktop as he has to see many reports/excel sheets/ files etc. attaching files is only available on mobile chat (as informed by shopify support).

I am getting used to it. It takes a little time to fully understand the potential.
The app is good. The instructions and video could be much better.

We should be able to archive the conversation once its done. Also Once it is read you cannot change it to unread. I get hundred of messages everyday and It is hard to keep track

Enjoyed this app, but staff can't respond: ("you dont have permission ). Already sent invite, but still same message.

Staff accounts are able to connect with Shopify Ping to respond to customers via Shopify Chat however, they will need specific permissions set within the Shopify Admin. Here is the link to the help doc that lists the required permissions: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/ping/setup. I will send you a personal email to ensure that your staff is set up right!

Was really excited to use the app, but its exclusive to iOS only, which sucks. Hopefully they become more inclusive soon, Or atleast make it so that I can get notifications thru email and respond. I'd really like to keep it.

no puedo entrar desde mi celular, tengo que entrar al mail de mi mac, el aviso decía que era gratuito, y al quererlo hacer desde mi movil , me dice que inici la prueba de 14 días gratis, me ayudan en aclarar esto?

The app is straightforward and easy to install, as well as customize. However, the usefulness is severely limited for non-iOS users, even with the new desktop Ping release. At minimum, the ability to set an availability schedule is a must. Will gladly re-evaluate once the feature set is improved.

Yes, Android is more limited at the moment, however we will definitely be releasing the same features that are currently available on IOS devices. Please keep the app updated so you have those as soon as they are released.
