As of my last knowledge update in December 2023, Shopify Inbox has provided a seamless experience for businesses looking to streamline their customer communication.
The platform's user-friendly interface and integration with Shopify's ecosystem have made it efficient in managing customer inquiries, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and conversion rates. Its robust features, such as automated responses and order management, have proven to be invaluable for businesses, making it a highly recommended tool for e-commerce operations.
Keep in mind that there may have been updates or changes to Shopify Inbox since my last knowledge update.
It is getting better by the day.
Can do with some options. But for a free app it shoud get 5 Star.

Very useful app -
1. can send product information
2. AI assistance added - reduces turnaround time in live conversation setting
3. Used effectively this type of customer is usually ready to buy.
This is a great tool if the app can be monitored by staff during business hours. Push notifications are inconsistent and and email notifications are delayed. When customers use the chat function there is a predisposed expectation that there will be near instantaneous communications.
on the seller side, the chat it great, however from the customer side, a lot of them has complain that they can not leave the chat to return to the website.
Shopify Inbox is a great way to assist customers , however the app for the mobile device does not send the push notifications for instant reply to the customers and the only reason it gets a four star
It makes communication with customers easier. I like the fact that chat with customer is mentioned and linked also in their order history. I would like to be able to format the message, like in mail, before sending it.
Works perfectly, the only downwside is that it's a separate app from the main Shopify app. Would be cool if it was built-in but it works perfectly! I've got a live chat setup with lots of FAQ that people can select and receive instant answers, or I can talk to them live if need be.
The one thing you REALLY need to add is the ability to put links in quick replies. We have to cut and paste the same links 20-30 times per day and it's frustrating.
Otherwise, it's great!
Spammers need to stay off. If not I will chat bot prompt and copy and paste their work and use to my advantage
