This keeps all our communication in one place and is a great tool for hashing out details for custom pieces. The AI response suggestions are decent as well for quick communication about one off questions if needed.

Great little addition and easy to manage app. Would be even better if there was a notification of msg and how long they have been waiting. Highly recommend!

Makes such a difference having Shopify inbox as a separate app on my phone so I can essentially be available 24/7 as a one man band. Definitely lead to a large number of sales.

the app works well , but sometime it creates more then one conversation for a single customer , which makes hard to chat , as some messages were on different chat and some on other.
for the mobile app , i would need a message notification sound of my choice or atleast a sound that is loud enough to hear , sometimes i miss customers messages because of low notification sound.

other then this , the app works well

We have tried many other chat apps and this version of Shopify Inbox has been the easiest for my team and customers to use effectively!
We felt a drastic increase in use by our customers once we switched to Inbox and my team has easily been able to communicate back and forth resolving issues, answering product questions, and supporting our customers.

Telling merchants to deal with Shopify's decision to stop supporting Shop Chat is ridiculous. I will remove Shopify inbox from my store rather than continue having customers believe they are sending messages to me, when, in fact, I cannot even access those messages.

It would be nice to customize further and set hours where the widget is completely offline, but overall coming from zopim, this is a great tool.

Solid Product and it works well for our store. I find the AI responses are usually solid for my products and a great jumping off point for a response.

excellent, i have instant access to messages which is great when customers are online with issues. they can be resolved easily and effectively. Fast loading and not laggy. glad i moved to Shopify.

I love Shopify Inbox! There are some, of course, some things that could be improved upon. For example, I'd LOVE it if users could search within the Mail app for messages from specific users or for messages pertaining to specific products or key words. Sometimes I have to research something for a response, and then it's hard to find that particular message again. That being said, it's an amazing tool and it's FREE. It's also fairly user-friendly and simple. Thank you!

We just want to share that we do currently have a search feature on the Inbox website and mobile app. At inbox.shopify.com, you can find the search icon on the left sidebar, to the right of your store name. On mobile, the search bar is above the conversation list. We support searching by keywords as well as customer names and emails.
