It's a good start. It works immediately out of the box. I would like people to be able to enter their names. Pre-done text excerpts for when you're away, or hours available to chat would be great. Saved chats so you can view or respond on desktop would be good too.

Removing Facebook messenger and Apple business chat takes all the appeal out of this app. Terrible move from Shopify.we will be looking for an alternative and will exploring the possibility of taking our business to another e-commerce platform.

I like the idea, but still needs improvement for android version. I would like to have the ability to set hours available for live chat (like facebook messenger) and, also, to be able to respond via computer, not just phone app.

There are some features that were not added in this initial first version of Shopify Ping for Android that we intend to incorporate in future updates. Features that are integrated into the iOS version of Ping such as sharing product pages, draft orders, discount codes, setting availability hours as you mentioned, as well as working with Kit, will be added in the future as we build upon Ping for Android. :)

It allows me to keep track of my consumers in one "place" and increase purchases by responding to their inquiries.

Easy app to install and navigate. 2 major issues:

You get a copy of every chat message on mail - meaning, suddely you will have 20-30 mails which just is a notification mail. Impossible to turn off. I did try with the help from support.

2nd - the number of scammers has increased over the past 4-5 weeks. all from Nigeria.

I use this app to respond to customer chat requests because it works with apple chat when valid. I think the functionality is pretty good. Chat works on all devices I have tested and I can respond to multiple at a time. My only complaint is that it has to be used with Ping to respond with customers. It gets very tedious using my iphone to respond to all requests. I would love some functionality to respond via computer at some point.

The app works good for me. Easier way for customers to just use the Chat on front page of my web site - than using the original email way.....

Boa tarde, preciso uma solucao para meu problema para que volte a funcionar como funcionava a quase 2 anos sem problemas. Nao quero uma solucao para aplicar em mais de 1200 paginas. Por favor, eu pago caro pela plataforma inclusive voces recebem uma comissao em cada venda, para ter meus problemas solucionados, problemas gerados pela propria plataforma. Estou realmente decepcionado com o meu ultimo atendimento que a resposta para meu problema era adicionar uma linha de codigo em todas minhas paginas que me custaria dias de trabalho por uma falha gerado pela propria SHOPIFY. I love it! but I wish there would be a quicker bottom to activate and deactivated without logging separately (it's just repetitive, we have to log in to get into the account and then do it again for the chat)
