Judge.me Product Reviews

I must say that An was awesome, the response was very timely and solved my problem very quickly!!!Seriously the BEST reviews app!!!! There are so many ways to customize your shop reviews, even if you only have the free account. Customer service is really helpful as well. I never sell the same product twice, and I was having a hard time finding a review app that allows me to put all the reviews on my shop homepage, rather than on a specific product. Judge.me has every sort of customization option possible. I will most likely end up paying the monthly subscription fee to get all the benefits. If anyone deserves my money, its Judge.me!

I don't like writing reviews, but I had to write one for this plug-in because it deserve it big time. Here what we love and we hope they continue doing, and what we hope they add or work on in the near future:
* What we love and please continue doing:
1- Core features work well: displaying reviews in different ways that fits your website with advanced features similar to Amazon reviews. It collects reviews with reliable emails and reasonable emails templates.. etc
2- Solid support, in seconds you will get people respond to you and actually fix things!
3- It has nice add-ons for free, like offering referral rewards and automatically posting reviews to your social media pages.
4- Reasonable monthly subscription fee, no BS. Screw Trustpilot and their crazy subscription fees +$200 for their basic business plan!!

What I wish they add and work on:
1- This is a big one: Improve your domain authority! When someone search for our website + adding reviews keyword, your website doesn't show up in first pages! This is not good as the empty and ugly Trustpilot page shows up instead :(
2- Please double down with your referral code widget by making it available/embeddable to our order confirmation email!
3- Continue improve some syncing issues in reviews counting. I specifically see the medals widget has an out-dated number of reviews comparing to the actual reviews we have in our website. I currently have to manually ping your support to sync them which is not pleasant experience.
4- Your UGC Media Grid is good plus, but it has not clear how to set it up, mainly because we can't preview it. I am sure if I contact your support or read articles I might be able to setup. However, you can make it more intuitive by allowing us to preview things within your app, just like the email template builder.

Overall I am very pleasant, I wish you the best and I believe you will overtake other bigger similar platforms; however, when you get there, please don't flip on us and starting raising your prices :)

I've been using Judge.me for about a year now. The app is excellent! I'm on the Awesome plan - which has all the features I could possibly need. I am able to customize everything I want via their many widget settings, so reviews & requests match my branding.

I also appreciate that it is SO easy to see exactly what's happening with all review requests and submitted reviews. It's very clear where each order is in the process of review requests. As far as I can tell, Judge.me has been sending out all of the correct review requests - I haven't noticed any missed requests. One thing I like is that if a request is not going to be sent for some reason, the app will tell me why - and, importantly, let me over-ride that and send a review request anyway if desired. I do use Klaviyo, but for now I've left my review requests coming from Judge.me.

I've also set up Judge.me to sync my review feed to my Google Merchant Center, so my reviews will show up on Google Shopping. Google Rich Snippets and the Google Shopping reviews are so important for any business.

For me, support has been excellent. Any time I've had a question or issue, they have responded quickly and actually fixed the issue. Even when it's not "their fault" they have provided me with fixes. E.g, fixes to workaround a couple of problems with my Theme. I appreciate that level of support and their quick turnaround. Many other app developers - and my Theme's developers(!) - won't help at all if they suspect the problem is not "their fault". It's especially bad with my Theme (Flex), as they won't even look at an issue that occurs with any app - they punt to the app developers (which is the definition of poor support!).

I just read some of the recent 1 & 2 star reviews about poor support and setup being difficult. I'm confused by that, as I've had nothing but quick and very helpful support (from a number of different people over the past year). And, I thought the setup was straightforward. I will say, there are a LOT of settings you can adjust - so maybe it's overwhelming to people who are not comfortable with that level of detail. Personally, I'm very comfortable with all the settings and like that I can adjust just about anything to be the way I want it for my brand. I also like that they are fully Shopify OS2.0. Makes it much easier to integrate via the Theme Admin.

Before switching to Judge.me a year ago, I used a couple of other review apps for a few years. I have been much happier since I switched. I am a small biz and can't afford to pay the very expensive monthly app subscription some major review apps charge to get the features you need to grow in e-commerce. Those plans look like they are reasonable in price, until you realize there are key features you need (e.g., Google rich snippets, Google Shopping Reviews, importing reviews from other sales channels, integration with Klaviyo, your own branding, etc.) that push you into a much more expensive plan level.

Finally, one important feature I required that Judge.me has... I sell my products on other sales channels and need to upload the reviews from those channels so all my reviews are together. Thankfully, I can do that with Judge.me. I appreciate that they will validate my product reviews from other channels. That's so important and helpful! Plenty of other review apps will not do that.

OK, I feel like a Judge.me salesperson! LOL! Truly, I have no vested interest in their business. :)
I just like this app. It does what I need, it has more features for me to grow into, and personally, I've had great success with support. Can't ask for more that that!

Really appreciate how well thought out and robust this app is for product reviews. It's the best I've been able to find in terms of features and support. I am fairly new to the app, but I've already collected almost 20 great reviews for products that I believe will show real social proof to new customers and give them confidence in my shop. I think people worry about buying from shops that are new who they don't know, and Judge Me gives those people the sense of security that clients need before spending their hard earned money. Appreciate what these people are doing and will be paying for this app for the foreseeable future.
