For such a hyped app, we're very underwhelmed by the experience.
1. Damn expensive for stores with large lists - I'm old enough to remember when telcos used to rip off customers with inflated SMS charges because people didn't realise they cost almost nothing to send. Seems similar here, email is cheap, dirt cheap, yes, charge a premium if you have proprietary segmentation, great software etc but ...

It's crap. We chose Klaviyo because it can create coupons and activate upon sending the email, 22% of the times it didn't work (we have 3 shopify-linked Klaviyo account, all experienced the same). Contacted support, and the problem was never solved, they just say "it's hard to say why it didn't work..." ????? Seriously?
The upside is, the onboarding manager and account manager was very helpful ...
one day for no reason they just disabled my account with no explanation. Would stay far away lots of great alternatives

Really disappointed that they got rid of unlimited emails. We send 1-2 per week, and they have priced themselves out of the market. Emailed the support team about the price increase and they did nothing. It will now cost me an extra $250 to send fewer emails than I was before. I also found that their editing tools were more archaic than other companies I have used.

If you don't value your time and don't consider what tomorrow will bring, then this is the best app to start with and see if it works out for you. Horrible Support! I had to send an order confirmation to my clients and it took almost 5-6 hours to upload the lists. After all that hassle when i hit send, this useless app says account disabled and they'll have to verify before ic ould send email. what a waste of freakin time! please use the BCC feature in your Gmail. When I speak with reps from other apps they rave about Klaviyo, but I'm guessing they have not gone through the onboarding process.
