One those "large" companies that wont help you when you need it. Expensive to the max for this program also. If you are a "large" company also then maybe this app is for you. But for small biz - im going a cheaper route with an agent that can actually help me.
If you need any level of customer support, I'd recommend avoiding this platform. When the app works, it's good. However, I had a problem with their Flows - some of the conditional filters weren't behaving as expected - and opened a support ticket on 4/11/24. Today is 6/14/24 and all I have is repeated emails from their support teams after I ask them for updates saying "engineering is still working on it". Absolutely terrible support and there's no way to speak to anyone about the issue beyond chat and email.
If I could rate them a 0 I would. The process began great, i followed the steps to set up Klaviyo, and in the process accidentally selected to add the shipping banner at the top of my website. Once I was in the app I tried to remove the banner with no luck. I looked through all the settings, but as a first timer who's never used this app I had no idea what I was doing. I tried to contact customer service with no luck. There is no live chat with help and NO ONE answers the phone. I combed through the website and found nothing about sales banners or how to remove the one added. So I unintegrated the store, and it removed everything EXCEPT the shipping banner. The app is unintegrated and uninstalled and I am STUCK with a shipping banner for free shipping that I NEVER wanted in the first place. Called customer service 8 times and no one answered, the call hung up on me every time. I now have to go hire a coder to remove the banner. I am super unhappy. I run a business, and my client now has a delay on their website. Absolutely Unacceptable.
Pretty crazy price increases on lifelong customers; we've been a customer since we ever started our business and Klaviyo has unfortunately become the only app in our stack that constantly increases their prices while adding 0 new features/functionality. it's good until you get up to ~50,000 or so profiles, then you should look to switch off of them.
Added the Reviews feature, and before we've had a chance to even send out a single review request, a notification has come through that we've "used 97% of your monthly plan for reviews."
Not 1 single review request email has even been sent. And we owe $250 in review request charges? Doesn't make a lick of sense.
A review feature should bill based on reviews. Klaviyo is already a super pricey platform, really disappointing to see them treating well paying customers like this.
Although Klaviyo has some nice features, there are better and more affordable options out there. I had yet even been able to use it before I got an email stating that I already used up my free plan and needed to update my pricing. When I checked what I would have to upgrade to, it showed almost $900. Klaviyo bases its billing on ALL contacts rather than actual subscribers. This is important as you cannot market email those who haven't subscribed, so this system of billing is extremely misleading. I quickly uninstalled. I have a very small business based out of my shed. This isn't a realistic for most stores on shopify.
Stay away and use someone else!
We've been with them for four years and it's gotten ridiculous. We had to spend 1200 for an email that had generated $200 in revenue. A complete ripoff.
There's better options. Support is the worst. At some point, they were the only players in the ecommerce game. Things have changed. Stay away because they will steal from you when you have actual volume.
Klaviyo is not providing good support in V1/V2 API migrations. This update is creating problem for us.
Had this on multiple websites. Consolidated our websites earlier this month and tried to remove the app from the closed websites. Kept gettting an error. Reported it to Klaviyo. Help was slow and took several emails over several days to get a resolution. Was billled for two websites while waiting on further responses. Klaviyo refussed to refund charges on those despite having alerted them to the issue days earlier. They would rather lose 100% of my business then refund a charge for a service that is no longer wanted.
The app is difficult to remove and customer service is bad.

Awful so far. I signed up less than a week ago and have had challenges at every turn. I've reached out several times and logged multiple support tickets and either I figure out a workaround before support responds, they don't respond or they respond with information that has absolutely nothing to do with the subject of my ticket. I have already started exploring competitors to see if they are easier to use and offer support. I am giving Klaviyo two weeks (one more to go) before making a decision.
