Charged after deleting app. Poor customer service experience. Low transparency regarding charges. LiveRecover appears to be attributing more conversions to themselves than is appropriate.

LOL. Firstly customer service is garbage. Won’t respond to any customer I complaints. I have recently noticed that they are trying to claim “conversions” as their own when in fact customers are placing orders using store credit, coupons not related to the ones they generate and they are charging me commission. I’m sorry but if you text a customer and they don’t end up using the coupon you provide and place an order YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO COMMISSION. This app is a scam. I would stay away unless you want to monitor every transaction.

I assure you we are working towards improving the app and the overall experience. Our attribution works based on discount codes and cart links so a sale will be attributed to LiveRecover if the customer used either one of those two things that appear in the text message we send them. We're also working on making this a more transparent part of our app.
I sincerely apologize for the confusion and have reached out to you a few times so we can process refunds from those sales.

LiveRecover has been a game changer for us. By day 3 it was already having a clear impact on our bottom line. I was shocked with how quickly it was recovering lost orders, especially on our non-buyers. Obviously, the main benefit is all of the incremental revenue it brings in; however, it has 2 additional benefits. The first is that customers and potential customers love having someone to talk to. Since they use live agents and not AI, people are having real conversations. It is not just "here's a code." They ask questions, give thoughts, and guide them through the buying process. Our customers then thank them and say it was the best shopping experience they have ever had. The second benefit is we learn why people do not complete the purchase. Since these people are having full conversations, they will mention why they got to the checkout page and did not convert. It's basically serving as a surveying tool which we can use to optimize our site. Based on people's comments, we are making changes to our site to help optimize.
If you're a Shopify brand, there is no reason not to try out LiveRecover. I've already referred them to a few of my contacts in the industry who will be trying them in Q1 2024. I've used a lot of MarTech and LiveRecover has been the fastest to profitability and one of the most valuable tools I've ever used.
You can't go wrong using LiveRecover! This app is an absolute game-changer, and its pricing plans are fair for every business size.

Terrible customer service, I was charged $99 again after I deleted their app a long time. I already asked to cancel the subscription. I emailed them and heard nothing back. Refund my money!

LiveRecover is an absolute cheat code. In about 4.5 days the recovered sales are over 10x the monthly cost I'm paying for the Pro Plan. This is the most no-brainer thing I've ever done for my brand.
I used this app to assist with SMS convos and recover carts. Their automatic go to is to just give everyone discounts, which is just so lazy. That's not helpful to not only take margin from us AND offer discounts to a customer. Not every conversation reply needs to be "oh hey let me just give you a discount" In fact ZERO of the orders were recovered without the use of a discount. But to make matters worse, I am trying to cancel our subscription with this app, and they have NO way to do this! And no way to contact support to cancel. Just irritating.

Regarding our use of discounts to recover sales, we've actually taken your product request which aligns with other customers' requests, and are just about to release a new version of LiveRecover that doesn't require you to set up a discount. This app is a must have. The messages seem personal (hint: cause they are) and our abandonment flow has only improved since installing. If you’re looking to up your post purchase game, I highly recommend starting with LiveRecover to do so.
Got my first recovered sale within minutes of installing! The process and installation are very easy and create a meaningful flow of additional business - people who would have otherwise walked away. Thumbs up.
