I haven’t tried every subscription app out there, but I’ve used one of the big names, and it was a frustrating experience. I couldn’t even get started because the app was so difficult to customize, and their support was lackluster—like many SaaS companies, they were attentive until I signed the contract, and then their responsiveness dropped off a cliff.
That wasn't the case with Loop. Their team stuck with me through two months of full customization, which included a major overhaul to accommodate a special bundle offer we wanted to run. Their customer success team was incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way. If you don't need to do anything special/unique/different then your startup time should be way shorter - probably just a week or so.
I was especially impressed with Loop’s API hub, which allowed us to create a fully tailored solution for our unique needs. Fast forward 10 months, and the app is running smoothly.
Good ecomm SaaS apps are hard to come by, but Loop is one of them.
This app has worked well for our subscription business. It's an easy user interface, and they make built-in features like analytics, shipping rules, and product bundling easy. But, the best part is the support. We all know subscriptions can be a beast of their own... and Loop makes it all easy. They are quick to respond to any questions and even hopped on a screen share to sort out something I was having trouble with. 5-stars.
Fantastic subscription app! We use this app to run all of our subscriptions - we use it for product swaps, upsells, and free gifts each month. Very easy to use and to set up. We were previously using Seal Subscriptions and the white glove migration from there was seamless (thanks to the Loop team). Now, we've been with them for over 6 months and we have monthly team meetings with Aayush, our account representative. He brings data on our account each month and ways we can improve. Super helpful!! We also have a dedicated Slack channel with their team for quick service if there is ever a bug. The only thing we wish they had is a better integration with Pagefly and a way to block cancellations for the first X days of a subscription. That would be a game changer for our brand to protect against customers who buy then cancel right away.
Loop was recommended to us by our web development team, and so far, we’ve been very happy with it. The platform offers great functionality, and the team has been incredibly responsive to our questions and requests. We appreciate the features available, though we do wish there were more subscription portal access options for our subscribers. That said, there are a few exciting features in development that we’re looking forward to. Overall, a solid subscription management solution with a great support team!
Loop has been refreshing to work with, and from engineering to product to finance we all highly recommend it. We're not small, and we were on a very well-known subscription platform that wasn't cutting it (too slow to change/evolve/improve, built on outdated architecture, etc.). We ran a competitive process, took a really good look at all the major players and decided on Loop. They've been everything we hoped for: super responsive and nimble in making customizations/improvements, but also stable and secure with never any down time or issues. Just like any tool, they don't have everything built out for every use case in advance, but we're finding more and more that when we want something from Loop that's important to the business, they're either already working on it or can get it on their short-term roadmap. And they actually deliver, vs. our experience in the past where our salesperson and account rep were great but always relied on some committee or team or process, and nothing ever actually got done on a reasonable timeline. Bottom line: you won't regret going with Loop.
Loop Subscriptions is by far the best subscriptions solution for Shopify, it is fantastic. The team helped us migrate over from our legacy system without fuss. The built in Flows are so powerful and intuitive that we easily built out our complex scenarios in minutes. Before most tasks required engineers to make changes, now our CS team are empowered to make changes themselves. Also, any issues we have faced have been acknowledged and resolved/work around or fixed very quickly.
I could not recommend Loop Subscriptions more highly.

Our experience with the Loop team has been excellent—our success manager, Chaitanya, has been proactive in helping us maximize the platform’s capabilities, and the support team has been quick to assist whenever needed. Overall, Loop has helped us refine our subscription model and improve retention, making it an easy recommendation for any brand looking to scale subscriptions on Shopify.

We were using a larger subscription provider before, and Loop proved to blow it out of the water. Subscriptions are our lifeblood, so we wanted to partner with someone that treated it as such. The thing that stood out to me the most was Loop's support. They have an incredible support system that made migration, optimization and ongoing testing easy, seamless and awesome. From their CSMs to their implementation they did a fantastic job introducing our brand to Loop. The features were the other thing that stood out. Their features are better or similar to more expensive subscription platforms. The only thing I wish could be changed are the Flows feature. We have multiple products that need to be swapped and setting those up are a pain, but they did the legwork for us, so it made switching so much easier. Amazing platform, fair pricing and amazing founder. Can't do any better than that, and honestly I just wish we switched sooner.
We initially made the switch because our previous provider was increasing costs without offering additional value. Loop, on the other hand, not only provided more features but also delivered a much better experience. We’ve already recommended Loop to multiple companies.
One of the standout features has been cancellation prevention, which has had a drastic impact on reducing churn. Beyond the product itself, the support from the Loop team is next level. From the founders to our account reps, the team is highly attentive, and everything happens seamlessly over Slack. No clunky ticketing systems or long wait times. It genuinely feels like a partnership focused on improving retention together.
