The emailers are extremely costly and even after disabling their email service, we are being charges continuously. We’d highly recommend you opt for better and cheaper alternatives than Loox. It isn’t worth the cost they charge & they also restrict you from using other email service providers to limit everything to themselves & to keep things in their own control.
Nor worth the price you pay !

I was really excited about Loox at first - it seemed like the perfect fit.
The design is clean and it looks great on-site, but once it’s set up, the functionality just isn’t where I expected it to be. It’s not intuitive to manage ongoing review requests, and I couldn't easily see who had received emails or who was still in the queue. For the price, I expected more visibility and control. It’s a good-looking tool, but lacks too many basics to justify the cost long-term.

Review request emails can be managed from the Orders page of your Loox admin.
We always aim to make Loox as easy and intuitive as possible, and your input is truly helpful as we continue to improve.

I have reached the 500-order limit, and I'm being asked to upgrade to a higher plan. However, I don't need the features offered in the higher plan — the Beginner plan is sufficient for me. The 500-order limit should be removed!
Because of this, I will start using a different app. Please notify me if the limit is ever lifted.

The Beginner plan is designed to provide new merchants with the necessary tools while starting their business, and is limited to 500 orders once the free trial ends.
While limited to 500 orders, merchants who reach this limit will still be able to access their admin and use the plan's features. I’ve reached out via email to go over your plan with you, explain how to access your admin after reaching the limit, and answer any questions you may have. Thank to Support for looking in to the below. But, for me it is still an issue. The reviews for my store are fed in to Google and then my reviews are shown on my competitors Google searches. I stand by the fact this is a major flaw.....
Major Flaw. Example...we have a product that we have 65 5* reviews on. When a customer searches Google for the item every other retailer selling the same product shows up with 65 5* reviews.
This just isn't fair when I'm the one spending over £150 a month to get the reviews.

Used to be a great app. Recently with updates and the addition of the Carousels the design and appearance of the app is quite ugly and filled with bugs. Half of the reviews don't even show up. Customer service is pretty quick but it's like pulling teeth to get anywhere. Have been speaking to customer service for an hour and a half with just stupid back and forth.
It works, but is a Very basic app for the expensive price they charge, I would recommend other similar apps, that have a more reasonable price.

There are a few things to criticise about the app, such as: the pricing, the lack of support for custom CSS, the integration via iFrame, which is somewhat outdated, the bad Mail templates and a few other issues that competitors do better. But: the developers has contacted us in the meantime and asked about the change requests and the criticism. We find this very positive. When the changes come, we will gladly change our rating as well ...

Generally speaking, Loox offers various plans to accommodate stores of all sizes and budgets. From just stores starting out all the way to tens of thousands of orders a month.
Keeping the app user-friendly and easy to use, we offer many customization options that are easier to use, but might not offer full custom CSS.
We have released a lot of features in recent years, including various customization options for both displaying reviews and collecting reviews via email, which I could see you have not implemented in your account yet. I’d be more than happy to help you find customizations that work for your brand.
In regards to cropping Images, Loox does not support changing customers’ reviews, hence editing the customers' photos in this manner is not possible.
In any case, I've personally reached out to you through our support email to elaborate further on a few of our available features.
good app but forces you to spend almost $100 per month on it. Totally stupid strategy. Im revoking access given to it.
