Magical Vacation Mode

FINALLY is all I can say - what a great and useful app for taking a break with your store and not having to follow the ridiculous suggestions by shopify to put the "coming soon" / password protected page back up - I don't care what kind of message you put on that page - it makes you look like you have gone out of business - and no one can browse your store!

With Magical Vacation mode - you can close for as long as you want, and still keep your shop open with a message (configurable) on the home page and product page so that customers don't get frustrated or confused.

Simple and lightweight - doesn't bog down the store. I personally have needed this app for years and am thrilled with the ease of set up AND the responsiveness of the developer who helped me tweak it to my needs.

Take a break, close for inventory - go on vacation - at the push of a button. 5 stars all the way!

We are giving the customer service team 5 stars for taking care of a small problem with our installation. Fantastic support! The app is something we have needed on Shopify for a long time. Online Store can stay open while on vacation in Google eyes and yet stops the ordering process.

Just what I needed, easy to use and does what it says, simple as that! The setup took me less than a minute and everything is working well, thank you.

Wenn die Option "inline message" ausgewählt wird, werden keine google fonts aus US-Servern geladen (bei der Pop-Up-Funktin allerings schon).

Der Kundneservice ist megaschnell und freundlich, und hat bei einem glitch bedingt durch mein altes theme schnell geholfen, so dass jetzt alles klappt.

For years I confused my customers by doing the only thing that Shopify allows you to do: Password protect your site.

Most of my not so tech savy customers hence believed that I went out of business....

This is a very, very useful app for Shopify, and it's completely free, at least for now. Finally a tool with which you can temporarily (or longer) block the sale of products without having to "hide" your entire shop. This can be helpful for many small companies if, for example, the entire work cannot be done due to illness.
The app works immediately and flawlessly. You can add an additional popup where customers can register during the "closure". The good thing is that this email registration is linked to "Shopify email", so that the "double opt-in" (DOI) works, which is mandatory in the EU.
The display of this popup was previously in english. Thanks to a mega top hammer SUPPORT, this has been changed, at least for German-speaking shops, so that the ad is now available in German. The app does this automatically if the shop has the language "German". So: A useful little app with fast, good support. We recommend !

Fabulous product and excellent customer service! John offered to assist us with anything we needed to do to make this customized to our needs after sign up.
