Magical Vacation Mode

Solves a lot of problems in a simple and easy to use way. Easy to set up and when I hit a speed bump support was excellent. Price makes it a no brainer.

What a fantastic app. I was nervous about setting this up as I’m not very techy but Kyle handled the full thing, start to finish for me. He was quick and very helpful and guided me through it after, if I need to make any changes. A very affordable price too. Would definitely recommend! Thank you.

A useful little app, for a very fair price.
Support was quick to answer my questions, and helped integrating the sign-up form into our product template when it didn't work out of the box (probably an issue on our side due to a very old theme).

While scouring the internet trying to find a good solution for going away for a few days, I learned about Magical Vacation Mode in the Shopify Forums. I certainly am glad that I gave it a try. The app did exactly what I needed it to...let my visitors know that they can look at my items but not purchase until my return. There was also an option for them to request a notification when I reopened. When I installed the app, I quickly received a note from a human asking if I needed help setting it up! While I didn't, it was easy, it was nice that someone was there if I needed them. When I returned, it was painless to go back to selling. I can't recommend this service enough, it solves a problem that enables me to take time off without the worry.

Everything looked good doing it myself but since we are using a vintage Shopify theme, I was unable to do inline messaging. Jeff the developer stepped in quickly and put in some code to really customize our message. Easy to use and implement, would fully recommend for anyone looking for an app to close their store for a brief period.

What an excellent app, this is by far the easiest to close your store while you are away, I had an issue with overlay and contacted support via email, in less then 24 hours Jeff from Magical Apps sorted it out.

Great option for Shopify owners for vacation mode. With their help, they (Bhanu, Arnold and John) were able to customize my shop so that I didn’t need to put my shop on pause. Now, my store remains active to browse and my checkout is disabled for the period I choose to not take orders. I absolutely love it!

I cannot believe Shopify does not have a vacation setting, but for a mere $5 per year (that's right, not per month ... $5 per year) this app made it super easy. Actually the tech support made it super easy. I took them up on the offer to set up the app for me with a simple email, and after just a few quick email exchanges they set it all up for me! Could not have been easier. I'm so grateful.

Not having a vacation option in Shopify, this application solves the problem. John has been a great help in assisting me with every step and solving all my questions. Highly recommend.
