Exactly what we were looking for! Works seamlessly with a simple installation process. Also the customer support team is super responsive. Great app!

I think there are times when mail connect is batch unsubscribing my email list. .. which is a huge issue.

Thanks for letting us know about the issues you've been seeing with batch unsubscribes. We're confident that Mail Connect isn't the source of the issue, but we're determined to help troubleshoot the problem. I've reached out to you so we can help figure out what's going on. This can sometimes happen with an unintentional customer import on the Shopify or Mailchimp side.

I'm very sorry you've experienced these problems, but hopefully we can find the root cause with you.

All went well until I realized one of their last steps is to disable Marketing Acceptance... They may want to rethink their setup as I just sent an email blast to an unknown amount of customers.

UPDATE: Because I also had Conversio still active, Mailchimp Connect apparently triggered an Opt-In email to be sent out.

The company reached out and showed they will work on making sure others know about what I had to learn the hard way and made it right, so can walk away knowing they actually care about making things right.

Thanks for the review, I'm glad we were able to work through this via our support channel. To add some extra info here for others, Conversio triggered subscription confirmation emails to the subscribers our app synced over from Mailchimp into Shopify. While not something we could have avoided, we've added a disclaimer to our instructions to mention this particular situation and hope others do not run into it.
