I found over recent years the integration with Shopify has improved, but its still far from the level other mail solutions are at. The final straw for writing this review has been trying to pause / deactivate a simple pop up / sign up form. The integration is working fine, and is good value for money, but it does not FILTER subscribers and non-subscribers and we incur additional fees as a result if we don't keep on top of the subscriber limit and this has to be done manually by ourselves. Not thrilled by this additional burden.

Hey there! Navigate to "settings" within the Shopify app and look for the section "Sync Non-Subscribed Contacts." Here you can choose which contacts you'd like to sync.

I'm bleeding subscribers! My subscribers, some of them my best customers, are being switched from "subscribed" to "non-subscribed", and apparently there's nothing you can do about it! I'm going to have to switch to a different email provider after 9 years with MailChimp.

We were after an uncomplicated free app to send our new contacts to our Mailchimp account. Shopsync had the link up an running in seconds with nothing really to do from our end. Great little app. Thank you developers.

It will not allow me to give zero stars but that is what this is worth at the moment

After installing this app we have faced many issues:
1. Order not syncing as they should
2. Customers automatically being marked as "Accept Marketing" when the box is not checked in Shopify
3. A huge disconnection between Mailchimp & ShopSync. I got both on email, each pointed blame at the other.

Received an email saying "Your automations and data syncing will continue uninterrupted with the Mailchimp for Shopify integration", but when I checked today, the syncing had stopped at some point and as a result, people who had subscribed to my newsletter recently (Including Black Friday deals) had not received their newsletters. Disappointing to say the least.

Great App. Very happy I chose to use this App when MailChimp parted from Shopify - it solved my connectivity issues and I am now back to syncing my Shopify site with MailChimp again without any hitches!
