Randomly deleted account, no way to figure out a solution and lost access to any data and integrations. Customer support was kind though.
really poor app. does not pull new subscribers from shopify to mailchimp account - really bad
waste of money and so much time

I signed up for Mailchimp’s Essential plan, but without my consent they automatically switched me to a more expensive plan and charged me extra. The reason? Simply importing contacts — even though not all of them are subscribers. In the end, Mailchimp only recognized 302 active emails, yet they forced me into a higher tier and billed me more.
This feels completely unfair and misleading. If I had actually used a larger audience, I could understand the cost increase. But being charged for contacts that aren’t even active subscribers makes no sense.
To make things worse, the system gives you no clear warning before upgrading and charging extra. It feels like a trap to push users into paying more.
I regret choosing Mailchimp — the pricing model is deceptive, support is slow, and instead of helping small businesses, it takes advantage of them.
I will be canceling and moving to another platform.

Been trouble with sync and integration from day one. The support at MailChimp havent done anything to solve our trouble, been in contact with them daily. Wasted enough time to get help from MailChimp. Stay away!!

Could never get any help. Despite 2 "onboarding" calls (one of which I was told to call tech support for an emaill??? not!)
They charged me 4 times for 4 different things, despite repeated emails, uninstalling the app and deleting it.
NO ONE listened to the actual issue (which wasn't technical) and they won't delete the charges. So I'm notifying my Attorney General...
Maybe now you'll pay attention???????

If you have too many different customer tags in Shopify, this app stops syncing any customer tags. We've spent 3 weeks full-time trying to fix this with no luck. Then it synced tens of thousands of old contacts from Shopify to Mailchimp with no way to filter them out, doubling our Mailchimp costs due to extra subscribers. We will have to pay a developer to build a custom Shopify-Mailchimp syncing app to compensate for this app's deficiencies.
Edit: I've tried all combinations of options, including trying to only sync specific tags. That didn't work either.

If you wish to sync all tags against your Shopify contacts, then it is true that our integration has an upper limit of 5000 unique tags. Mailchimp has really gone down hill since they were acquired by Intuit. This app is terrible because it is now spamming my new customers with double-opt-in emails - some customers get those emails every day for a week straight, even though double-opt-in should be deactivated. The app is broken, it HAS BEEN broken for like 2 months, and they still haven't bothered to fix it. This makes me very upset. And I pay a lot for their services. I no longer feel it is worth it.

They have many bugs in the last months and the biggest one is when our store was disconnected from they’re servers and we need to wait for more than 48 hours to finish the resync.

Pas toujours facile cependant de maîtriser son design et la mise en page des newsletters.
Mais ensuite ça se gâte. Je rencontre de nombreux problèmes de synchronisation avec shopify et d'intégration dans shopify.
Par exemple je ne retrouve pas le même nombre d'abonnés côté shopify et côté mailchimp, il n'y a pas la possibilité de segmenter correctement par rapport à des chiffres d'affaire générés ou autre (contrairement à ce qui est régulièrement annoncé et mis en avant). Lorsque vous essayer d'avoir des explications avec le support. C'est lunaire.
C'est le point très négatif: l'équipe support est un fake.
D'où ma note.
J'ai 3 problèmes en cours qui trainent depuis plusieurs semaines. Les réponses sont évasives, différentes selon interlocuteur, elle reporte l'investigation, et la résolution du problème sur l'utilisateur.
Dernier exemple en date : le pop up pour l'inscription à la newsletter qui s'affiche sur mon site alors que je l'ai désactivé, puis supprimé depuis mailchimp (car ça ne fonctionnait pas). Il continuait à s'afficher malgré tout sur mon site. Le support m'a invité à faire appel à un développeur freelance !
Ce n'est pas l'aide que l'on attend d'un support.
Malgré les nombreuses qualités de Mailchimp (mais que l'on trouve ailleurs) l'incompétence et la mauvaise fois de l'équipe support m'amènent à mettre cette note. À contre coeur.
