The plugin is really well thought out. I was a bit frustrated with some initial difficulties, but the support in the live chat was outstanding. Adrian helped me step by step to set up products and fix bugs.
I'm sure the plugin will get better and better in the future.
easy to use once you get used to the "excel style" layout. for the most part the app syncs and lists things superbly and would recommend.
for the price, the pros outweigh the couple annoying cons that we've experienced thus far.
The transition was rocky at first but customer support has been very helpful and very patient in any issues being faced. I'm really happy so far with Marketplace Connect.
Works a lot better now the app follows Shopify design guidelines. The new pricing structure is a lot clearer.
There are a few things which could use some improvement.
---Amazon---
1. Variants are too dependent on their parent for key information.
Amazon treats each variant as a stand-alone product. When sending listing information for variants there is not enough flexibility to alter specific attributes for each child.
Example: Item Package Quantity is set on a parent level. However, our variations include 'pack sizes' offering a discount when ordering multiple items. It would be preferred to set this attribute on a variant level.
Another example: Bullet points are set on a parent level. For variants like 'StyleName' we may want to enter unique bullet points at a variant level to highlight key features of that specific variant.
2. Variations can only be mapped to the exact value & layout from Shopify.
For some of our products, we need to map variation values to specific amazon friendly values. For example: 'ItemPackageQuantity-Color' variation. In our store, we call the value 'Blue / Pack of 1'. However, Amazon requires '1 / Blue'. The only way to achieve this is to reorder the variations in Shopify and change all the values to Amazon-friendly ones.
This was done very well in Amazon by Codisto. You simply entered the variation values on each child before creating the variation. I don't know why the app is trying to map from Shopify. It's more complicated than it needs to be and causes issues. Just let us enter the values manually on a child level.
-- eBay --
1. Variation problems
eBay does not allow a variation layout to be changed once the listing is created. This causes problems when you need to rearrange values to meet Amazon's guidelines. This would be solved if we could manually map the Amazon values as mentioned above.
Or even better, if eBay variations could be joined together under one variation heading.
For example:
Variation Name: 'Choose Options:'
Values: 'Pack of 1 / Blue', 'Pack of 2 / Red'.
Many other integrations offer this to prevent eBay errors when adding or removing variations.
-- Bulk Edit --
1. There is no way to bulk edit to 'blank'. Sometimes I'd like to simply unset a value. Not all values are required by Amazon.
2. Sometimes I would like to override mapping on a specific value on a specific product without having to unmap every product. Instead of a strict 'map to value', could there be a 'default to value'.
3. Coloured Columns: The colours on Codisto were helpful to find the right column, especially when you are working with so many of them. Setting column colours is something that should be available across Shopify.
4. Bulk editing variant. There is currently no way to bulk edit variants. This means you have to painstakingly click through each one to check values and alter them. Which is made worse by my next point.
-- General --
1. The loading times are quite slow between pages. This means when you are working on your entire catalogue you spend more time loading pages than making edits. Especially on variants. This would be much improved if variants could be bulk edited.

Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing how the app improves now it's part of Shopify. I just hope that the customer service live chat remains funded as it's really fast and helpful. Additionally, I'm really hoping this doesn't become another third-party marketplace app which Shopify discontinues.
Thanks for your feedback,
We would appreciate the opportunity to resolve the issues you have raised and have reached out to you directly.
It is possible to set the variation theme and bullet points are assigned on the product level, which means the variations will use the data assigned on the product level.

Pretty good app.
Pros: When your FBM order fulfills in Shopify, it notifies Amazon and fulfills on Amazon on autopilot.
Cons: You have to manually "send" the order from Codisto to Shopify for your FBM orders. (you can choose to auto send everything, but then all your FBA orders would flood your store).
Thanks for your review - FBA/FBM order settings were on the roadmap and have just been released :)
I have been meaning to write a review. The app is great and really simplifies the transfer of your products from Shopify to amazon. It can get a little interesting when trying to set up variants but any issues I have has been resolved with their exceptional customer support. I think its more of a glitch on the amazon side, but who knows! I would like to point out that I received amazing customer support from Ronel ! He knows the system really well. For improvements, I have a couple of suggestions. 1) it would be great if we can just copy over our library from .ca to .com and vice versa.
2) it would be great if you can import the description and bullet points from shopify product catalogue. it would save so much time.
Thanks for your review!
Our Customer Support certainly has an excellent reputation 🙂
While we support listing to multiple marketplaces, copying one whole region to another is on our roadmap as a future feature!
We can import the Shopify product description. If you have a metafield that holds the Bullet Point data in Shopify, we can map it via the Attribute mapping page.
I've found this app to be highly effective for managing listings on Amazon, making the linking process easy and efficient. However, I've encountered some challenges when it comes to linking Etsy listings.
Firstly, not all Etsy listings appear on the Link Page (Settings page), causing some difficulty. Additionally, enabling a listing in Bulk Edit mode seems to create a new Etsy listing rather than linking to an existing one. This has resulted in unexpected charges from Etsy for duplicate listings.
I reached out to the support team for assistance, and while the first staff member acknowledged the issue and notified the tech team, I didn't receive any updates. When I contacted them again, the second staff member seemed unfamiliar with the situation and unintentionally created a duplicate Etsy listing, leading to an additional charge.
I appreciate the effort of the support team and their willingness to assist. However, I'm still facing challenges with linking Etsy listings, and it has resulted in unexpected charges. I hope these issues can be addressed to improve the overall experience.
Update:
2 weeks later, the first staff member followed up with me and the remaining unshown 2 listings finally showed up on the Link page (Ready to list). Problem solved! Thank you Shopify team!
Update:
Just don't connect with Etsy. That's what I can say. Not sure which side got the bug. Etsy listings duplicated when turning Vacation Mode on and off.
Thanks for your feedback,
We can now confirm this issues has been resolved, we have reached out directly with next steps. We are available 24/7 please reach out anytime,

This app is good if it works, saves soo much time importing to eBay. However it does really need to be looked at in terms of upgrading.
Codisto has been an instrumental tool in our e-commerce strategy, connecting our app store effortlessly with both Amazon and eBay. This app has offered an extensive array of features that have simplified our multi-channel selling, making it more efficient and accessible.
The integration process is largely seamless, allowing us to manage product listings, inventory, and pricing across platforms without any fuss. The intuitive interface, complemented by regular updates, makes navigation a breeze, even for those without a technical background.
However, it's important to highlight an issue that significantly impacted our operations. Recently, we faced a two-week backlog of orders stuck in eBay due to an expired OAuth token. Unfortunately, Codisto's system did not pick this up, causing delays and potential customer dissatisfaction. What would have been particularly beneficial here is an automated warning system that could detect such problems ahead of time, thereby preventing them from escalating.
While the rest of the experience with Codisto has been positive, this particular oversight was quite concerning. Customer support, although usually responsive, could have been more proactive in this instance. Addressing such unforeseen issues promptly, coupled with the implementation of an automated warning system, will go a long way in maintaining the credibility and efficiency that Codisto is known for.
In conclusion, Codisto remains a highly recommended app for those seeking to connect their app store with major marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. The functionality and ease of use are top-notch, but improvements in the monitoring system and more proactive customer support are needed to prevent future disruptions.
I am hopeful that Codisto will address this issue and consider implementing a proactive alert system to enhance its service. Despite this hiccup, the app's overall performance and capabilities make it a strong option for those looking to simplify and enhance their multi-channel selling experience.

I've been having issues with integrating my Shopify store across to Amazon. This app worked well to get my store across to Ebay and Google, but Amazon is a more complicated beast. Jae at Codisto has been great fixing some issues I had with SKU's and UPC's so I'll be jumping back into Shopify Marketplace to have another attempt at listing on Amazon. Thanks Jae for the help and advice.
