Shopify Marketplace Connect

Does what you need it to do... usually.

The main problems we have with this app:
- Doesn't properly sync inventory: this is a huge one because ebay will penalize you for cancelling an order for being out of stock

- You have to navigate to certain pages in a certain order for functionality to work. For example, going to a product in shopify then hitting "view in marketplace connect" works to get you to that page. But functionality like listing or delisting the product? That tends to break unless you go to listings, search the product and then get there that way.

Very finnicky and while support is responsive, they're mostly just reading off a script and it takes a lot of back and forth before you get competent help.

Marketplace Connect has been a great addition to our Shopify store. The customer service team has been really helpful and quick to answer any questions we’ve had during setup. So far, the app is doing everything we need it to and has made managing our marketplace listings much easier. We’re really happy with the support and functionality so far and look forward to continuing to use it.

Really annoying thing when syncing orders to Amazon there is not enough info on Shopify Fulfilment for all of the Amazon fields so my orders were failing valid tracking rate on amazon so I got suspended once and had to go in and daily correct the tracking. Now the shopify send the corrects info in the right format so DPD Local on shopify (which is correct) now changed to just DPD for amazon and adds the Carrier Service which was getting left blank before

Marketplace Connect has been a great experience so far, and their support team has been outstanding. I had a few questions during setup while connecting an existing eBay store, and they were patient, knowledgeable, and stayed with me until everything was working correctly. They even adjusted my account settings to fit my workflow and explained exactly what was happening during the initial sync process.

The app has already saved me a lot of manual work by keeping my listings synchronized, and it's a huge relief knowing I don't have to constantly worry about inventory and pricing staying up to date.

Excellent app backed by excellent support. Highly recommended!

Slow support.
Engineers are unable to fix faulty images issues on Ebay for 1year+
Plenty of minor issues and bugs. But possible to list items, yet not ideal. Improvements come slowly in development

Marketplace Connect app is a useful solution, but I am disappointed that it does not support major European marketplaces such as Zalando, ASOS, and About You. These are some of the most popular online retailers in Europe, and they all operate successful marketplaces. As a result, the app is missing some of the most important sales channels for European sellers.

I sincerely hope these marketplaces will be added in the near future. Doing so would make Marketplace Connect far more valuable and complete for businesses selling across Europe.

Despite this limitation, I believe the platform has great potential, and I hope this expansion is already on the roadmap.

good App. the only drawback is that it is not easy to edit product template and there is only one template available. So you will have to pay developers to design a proper template for you.

Ich gebe hier 5 Sterne für das Supportservice, besonders für Mark. L, weil er viel Geduld gezeigt hat. Aber die App war nicht einfach und hat lange gedauert bis ich alle Produkte verlinkt habe. Da sie keine klare Fehlermeldung gegeben haben, und nicht alles geklärt haben.

I really like this app! The only draw back that I've seen thus far is if you change your password everything stops and syncing. Therefore, you will be definitely unaware and possibly miss sales and notifications. I had to contact support to find out that this was the actual issue but support was helpful and quick.
