As a merchant focusing on the German market, I found this app fundamentally unusable due to its severe limitations around tax handling. The platform from which it imports data (Etsy) does not include sales tax in its transaction reports, yet it collects the tax. This presents a significant issue for German merchants who are legally required to itemize sales tax on invoices. Unfortunately, this app lacks the functionality to import orders from Etsy to Shopify with a customizable tax rate, rendering it ineffective for managing financial compliance within the EU.

The lack of attention to such a crucial aspect for European Union merchants is disappointing. Given the EU's complexity and strict tax regulations, this oversight can cause significant operational and legal challenges for merchants in the region. It's a glaring gap that cannot be overlooked, as compliance with tax regulations is not optional but a mandatory aspect of conducting business within the EU.

While I understand the world is vast, and there are markets outside the EU, it's disheartening to see the developers overlook such a significant market segment. The EU may not be the largest market globally, but it's a critical one, with stringent regulations that cannot be ignored. This oversight limits the app's usability for a significant number of merchants who would otherwise benefit from its features.

To the developers, I urge a reconsideration of the app's features to accommodate the needs of EU merchants, especially those in Germany. Addressing this issue not only expands your app's market reach but also demonstrates a commitment to supporting businesses in navigating the complex tax landscapes of their respective countries.

This app is very dangerous....i ve had my ebay acount for about 10 years.. and i have a 100% feedback and customer review.. with 5 stars..as soon as i added this app .. ebay suspended my acount. I lost thousands in sales.. this app is dangerous and the people who created it are liars and crooks. And the only reason i put one star for this app is because you cant submit your review without picking a star... do you see how crooked they are.. they deserve -10 stars.

Our app does not cause suspension of eBay accounts. We would not be able to run a business if this was the case. We have direct communication with eBay who inform us that their Trust and Safety team had some concerns with your account. They have reached out to you by phone (no answer) and email. Once you respond they will review your account suspension.

In the meantime, we ask that you amend or remove this review as it unfairly impacts our rating and inadvertently causes potential damage to other sellers looking to solve their multichannel problems.

DO NOT CONNECT TO YOUR ETSY SHOP! This app deleted (Not deactivated, not set to draft, deleted) several listings that were also my best sellers! I have spent many hours trying to sort it out. Short of a miracle from Shopify support, this will likely cost me thousands of dollars in lost revenue right as Q4 begins, possibly more. The Etsy marketplace ranking for these listings cannot be regained by simply creating another listing.

I wish I read the reviews first and saw the same has happened to other Etsy sellers. Learn from my mistake: DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP AND SYNC YOUR ETSY SHOP!

Absolutely terrible.
It didn't connect to eBay, ruining all my Google SEO rankings and Adwords. Disgusted by how bad this app is.

Useless, unintuitive garbage. Don't waste your time. I've done exactly what I need to do in the past, which is nothing complex just an online store linked to ebay store, and I had to do it with Wordpress and Woocommerce with third party app which is miserable as well. I thought maybe shopify and marketplace connect would save me the trouble of custom coding but the user interface and workflow is unimaginably horrible so it's just me paying them to have a shitty backend. thanks for wasting my time. Ok, so here's my reply to their response: how the fuck can you send products to eBay when you don't even have fields for product dimensions, or even just girth? There is no feature within Shopify to integrate with eBay so you have to purchase a third party app which costs more money, and DOES NOT WORK without extensive tweaking and configuration nightmares. This is just my review of their system in regards to eBay. Every other aspect of this software is also flawed. All the plugins are not intuitive and all cost money, and many of the plugins simply do not work without a complete understanding of all the various online marketing sales channels.

Support is very friendly but will not take any responsibility for any error. All the faults are users. This app is not capable to create proper ASIN, and it is not the fault of this App this is something user is doing mistake to upload the product.

We're sorry that you experienced problems with the app. But as mentioned via support, Amazon doesn't allow ASINs to be created if your GTIN (UPC/EAN) data in Shopify isn't in the correct format. For existing listings, Amazon will return the corresponding ASINs from matched GTINs in the Amazon catalog - Codisto does not control the GTIN/ASIN link - that is controlled by Amazon.

Zzzz....dead in the water. This lags and lags and lags and lags. Nothing has come of it other than taking an unexpected nap behind the computer. When I woke up, nothing changed except over thirty minutes of time wasted. I'd like this rectified, please.

Very Bad App For Etsy Integrations. it doesnt have any options to put different descriptions , also it ruined all the keyword research on title because of no option to keep the titles different

You can't link a metafield if it has multiple values. Kind of useless for media listings where you have edition, features, genre, style, label all needing more than one entry. The condition defaults to 'Very Good' regardless of what you enter in the field meaning you can't sell something as 'New' or 'Like New'. It pulls through irrelevant fields, e.g. CD listings have a Cassette Grading. Orders include a 99p shipping charge despite the fact I only offer free shipping.
Support are incredibly slow to respond, half answering questions so you have to keep chasing them. Not a good app.
