We have been searching for months on end to find an application to support the organizational needs of our website. Then we came across Metafields Manager, all we can say is this app will be the best choice in the Shopify App Store if you are looking to take your e-commerce site to the next level. Blown away is an understatement, it was able to provide us with exactly what we needed and then some. If your like us, we have tried other apps for different needs and the support was below subpar. The developer, Jason, has to be one of the best in both app development and customer support. We had a few questions about code placement and design, and literally we received a response within hours. He was able to address and fix all of our concerns within no time. If you want a great app with great service, this one is a GAME CHANGER!
I used this app to help me pull variants by themselves into different collections and it worked like a charm. I did lean on the support team here a bit but they were great and were able to help me get everything set up and were super helpful and patient with me when my brain misfired on sorting a page. 10 out of 10 , would reccomend.
Works okay, but clunky! I went to add a metafield and it gave me a dropdown list to select the type, but when I selected 'product', it gave me a list of every item in my store alphabetically. Given there are almost thousand different products in our store, this was a little difficult to navigate! Ended up uninstalling it because I'm not going to click through page after page trying to find the product I needed to edit.
Thanks for the feedback. We made the decision to take full use of Shopify's built-in search since it's simpler and less to learn. What we recommend is to find your product like you normally would within Shopify and then click "More actions" -> "Add Metafields to Product". This will redirect you to the Metafields Manager dashboard for that product so theres no need to search within the app. We did this to keep things as simple and "native feeling" as possible for our customers (it also scales really well for sites with a lot of products like yours). Please reach out if you have any other feedback, we're always looking to make the app better!

This app did exactly what I needed to do with editing / removing in bulk some metafields across all of my products. Beyond that and MORE IMPORTANTLY, I had questions on how best to approach the task and reached out by email to Jason who responded nearly IMMEDIATELY was incredibly helpful and wonderful to work with!! A problem our store had been trying to rectify for weeks was fixed in under a few hours with Jason's help using this app! Excellent app that saved us a lot of efforts and resources to have our Shopify product pages look the way we want. Shopify themes are very restrictive in terms of how you can customize the product page, but through Metafields Manager I was able to create multiple custom sections on my website that can be designed however you want. Plus, Jason worked ever so passionately with us to understand the requirements and setup the sections as per our needs - he has been providing continuous support whenever needed. This is one of the most crucial apps for a lot of businesses on the app store.

An extremely functional and stable app that does way more than I have expected and saves tones of time!! We needed an app to add non-standard product metadata that also provided a very easy interface to make edits and add additional fields so we wouldn't always have to bother our developer to make changes. Metafields Manager was quick and easy to work with, has a simple interface and the Metafields team was extremely responsive to answer questions and address any concerns we had.

I am new to Shopify and found this app very easy to use. The import/export feature has helped me out significantly. I had a few hiccups at first, due to my lack of knowledge of Shopify, but Jason @ Best Agency was very quick to help. He even helped me with a small customization to our product page. I was looking to add the estimated back in stock date to items on my store that were currently out of stock. I wasn't sure where to start and reached out to support. They quickly helped me come up with a solution and helped me install the correct code to my theme. Great app for anyone who wants to add extra data to your website. Also helps website to manage all the data in an easy-to-use interface including descriptions, images, html code, and much more. If you have experience with adding custom code to your shopify template, its a very useful app. Highly recommend!

Great app. Very useful for adding and managing additional information on our vape store. Lots of great features and easy to use. Product descriptions in Shopify works well, but if you need to add more info, images, and any HTML data, its a perfect app.

I needed this app to store information that I could then export and use in a dropdown build. I needed this to happen as a bulk import. Not only was this app able to easily handle but the support team was helpful and rather than just doing it for me, they walked me through it, step by step so that I could do projects again in the future. i love this app!
The app does everything you could reasonably want it to, and the support so far has been top-notch. I got a quick response to an issue on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, and I don't think you could ask for more than that.

I needed some functionality added to my product page that other developers said wasn't possible. I needed to add a calendar that would allow customers to choose the dates they wanted an item delivered on. One developer suggested looking into a metafields app, there are free and paid options available. I ultimately chose this one, even though the cost is higher than the others. The reason being that Jason's support has been amazing. He is quick to respond and asks the right questions to make sure that the job is done correctly. We had to go back and forth over a few days to make sure the functionality was spot on. Once he got it right, he gave me some easy to follow instructions and I was able to add the calendars to all my product pages without an issue. I highly recommend this app!
The app is great ! It was all i was asking for. Now i can create all the metafields for all the objects in the shop and that was a problem with the free ones and I still havent explored the whole app. Best thing I bought for my shop. I recommend it !

Hands down the best metafields app, particularly for large inventory shop migrations. As far as I know it's the only metafields app that can bulk upload metafield values. For a shop with hundreds of products, you can probably guess how helpful this is. Now I'm a little spoiled. Jason also gives such great support!
Excellent app and great support! This app has given me the flexibility to build my store exactly the way I want. The interface is clean and intuitive. I especially like how it generates copy-and-paste code snippets for a product's metafields. This is a must-have for my shop and anybody else who wants to build a dynamic site.
Metafields Manager is truly awesome and it has enabled us to add all of the data to our products in to metafields and then display the data where required on the product pages. Adding detailed information to product descriptions in Shopify can be tricky as you have just one description field to add everything and if you have complicated descriptions or data that you need to split up, to potentially add to tabs or display on a specific part of the product page, this app allows you to do exactly that.
The support from The Best Agency who have designed the app has been one of the best support experiences we have had with any Shopify app developer. We required some additional functions to be added to the app which the developer was not only happy to carry out but completed the work in just a few days. They also responded to emails within just a few hours.
Worth noting, you can link the app to your own Amazon S3 account, so any files that you add within the Metafields manager app such as MP3 or PDF files are sent directly to your own S3 account…very useful! Or you can simply leave it as default which will add any uploads to the Shopify CDN system.
I thoroughly recommend Metafields Manager as the best custom metafield system out there for Shopify.

Thanks to Metafields Manager we can customize our store to our heart's content. We can also host video and images at no additional cost. I can't imagine developing a Shopify store without it...
