Translate store ‑ GTranslate

The apps works, but not on all fronts. It doesn't (automatically) translate reviews from the Yotpo app (like with the rest of the site) via the ''Auto switch to browser language'' function. Only when you refresh the page or reselect the country flag. Also this Yotpo app review text is not a fixed content (section) of the website itself - it is not visible when editing the site from the frontside (creating extra subdomains will not work in our opinion), so we had the feeling the text 'initially' stays locked when someone is visiting the page for first time. We have asked the Support team of G-translate to get this fixed/unclocked.

We asked for help, and been told if we upgraded our subscription plan to paid (again) we would get the help. But once we have done that, it turned out (almost directly) it could not be solved.

It makes it a bit sad because we already made it clear from the beginning we already have subdomains via Translate & Adapt and showed screenshots of it as well. So they could have known and advised us earlier instead of advising to get paid plan first. Therefore it makes it a bit less experience. If it can be looked at and fixed properly then we would be grateful

I can't say enough about the outstanding customer support I received from Grikor! I had been struggling with this issue for months, trying to get the widget positioned correctly, but I never found the right support—until now. Grikor was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient in resolving all the problems I was facing. The widget is now perfectly placed on both desktop and mobile, and it no longer interferes with the submenus, which was a major concern.

I do not recommend using this add-on. We have been using it for two months, and apart from technical issues, which can be resolved somehow, there is a very global problem: their servers are located in France, so if you use translation on your own subdomains hosted on their server in France, Shopify and all other services such as cookies, etc., will incorrectly determine your user's location, mostly as if they are in France, This significantly distorts the data transmitted to advertising accounts and also harms conversion rates, since the user's country is set by default according to their location, and since their server influences this and identifies it as France, you will have many abandoned checkouts and many problems with this application. Support makes it seem like they want to help, but in reality, they provide a solution that does not fix the problem at all. And if you don't understand this at all, you won't notice it, but the damage to you will be enormous.

I love the app; it has opened markets for me at a reasonable price. I have worked with many team members at G|Translate, and they offer solid support, with a special shoutout to Vahan, Grikor, Suzan, and Arshak. If you want to add accurate translations to your website on a directory (e.g., xxx.com/fr) or a subdomain (e.g., fr.xxx.com), then this app might be right for you.

Great GUI and excellent support staff. Helped me integrate into my theme menu. I tried other apps for translation and nothing comes close to the GUI/UX from GTranslate. We are definitely going to be using the paid for version in the future.

The app is good but when you get other apps/widgets that need translation it may take weeks for them to translate it. They are not open for support in the weekends either. Support is fast though but not always the solution.
