I would like to say up front that we were using Route shipping protection until we were notified one day that the rates were going up by 50%. This was a unilateral move by Route and we weren't engaged in any discussion leading up to the rate hike announcement. Immediately upon receipt of this notice I informed Route that "we were out." Route responded that the message was 'sent by mistake' . . . I don't know what you think about that but, as for me, Route completely lost my trust.
After our departure from Route we looked around for alternative shipping protection solutions. We were delighted to find Navidium, primarily because it put control of our shipping protection in our hands, rather than a 3rd party. Since implementing Navidium we have had a more streamlined and seamless relationship in resolving shipping problems for our customers. Our customers are happier, therefore, we are happier. With Navidium there is no more 'mixed messaging' and the customer has only one point of contact - our customer service department.
We have found Marc and his team to be very responsive to our needs in the setup process (which is actually pretty easy) as well as the resolution of a glitch we experienced. You will not be disappointed with the support available with Navidium.
Marc and his team have been great since day one when we made the switch over to them. It is nice to have another viable option.
Navidium was easy to install, easy to use, and gets what need done so seamlessly. The team is also very helpful in making sure the implementation works and is an easy UX for the customer. Navidium is also very open to communication and feedback, taking into consideration new ideas and features that could make the app even better.

Navidium is a no-brainer. Before switching to Navidium we tried a couple different order protection tools and while they all did the job they were expected to do, the app providers were the ones reaping nearly all the benefit. 99%+ of our customers receive their order without issue, which means our former order protection apps were raking it in from our customers, our site, and our paid efforts. Navidium's service is incredible, affordable, and lets us as the brand benefit most from their app. Very pleased!
Incredible. We have been using Navidium for 12+ months & never have any issues. The team even goes above and beyond when needing tweaks for our custom theme. Customers get peace of mind & the new Navidium platform is clean & intuitive. I wish the team the best as we enjoy how it protects our margins.
We have just been using the free plan as our orders are below 50 at the moment. We found Navidium to be easy to use and just works straight out of the box. There is always new features and updates coming through and the future roadmap looks exciting to say the least.

Ohhhh buddy...I feel at home when I read through some of these other reviews talking about other merchants who switched from other shipping protection services (I won't name names but...*cough cough* Route *cough*). We used this other company for probably just about a year before we switched over to Navidium because they kept trying to nickel and dime us. But more than anything, they pushed and pushed for us to make their shipping protection automatically set to "opt-out" only meaning customers would automatically be paying extra $$ unless otherwise specified. They also wouldn't let us adjust the amount that was charged for protection. Since we sell high-priced products already and have a really unique culture, we didn't want that because we didn't want people to feel like they were being overcharged. This other company kept harping on us -- and to sweeten the deal, they finally said that they were going to start charging us for their "marketing" features, which we didn't need or use.
Enter: Naviduium. The cost was hard to swallow at first since we are on Shopify Plus and would have to go from paying $0 with our current company to $100 with Navidium. THAT BEING SAID: Looking back, it was an absolute no-brainer to make the switch. Every month, we bring in enough revenue for shipping protection to cover the cost of the subscription, PLUS have $1000+ leftover to cover issues with shipping. To sweeten the deal a little more, I am not constantly pressured to adjust my settings and contacted by "sales bros" to give them more of our money.
The ironic thing is that since we have more capability to tweak the settings and set our own protection rates, we are actually "opt-out" now and haven't heard any complaints about it from our customers. Sorry, not sorry "other company".
I consider myself a loyal subscriber to Navidium and we will likely use them for the foreseeable future, especially since they keep coming out with new updates and features that are really awesome.

Who needs "the other guys" when you have Navidium? Our small business is thanking our lucky stars for this game-changing software. We now have the power to handle claims like champs and our customers are over the moon to chat with the people they actually bought from. No more middleman talking to our customers or wasting our time! Navidium has truly been a lifesaver in providing a top-notch package protection app. Thanks Navidium, y'all are the real MVPs. 5++ Stars, no question.
