Had the app for a while now. We charge 2% and have a little over 70% acceptance rate. A few little bug in the software but they seem eager to fix them. While the service fee is kind of high for this program, it pays for itself in about 2 days for us. It really makes it much easier for us and our customers when a shipping issue should occur. I'd say this is a win for everyone. I only found this after FedEx ground lost one of our largest shipments ever, and then declined the claim. (Never let them take a package without scanning it!!)
UPDATE: June 21, 23 - The developer continues to improve their app and am happy to report that is works even better now. Very pleased and I think our customers are happy too. UPS recently lost a $700 shipment, but they failed to scan it, so left us holding the bill. (never let a shipping company tack anything without scanning!)Thanks UPS, but our customer had paid for the shipping protection, and it was an easy decision to replace the order for our customer thanks to this app. Income from the app makes it easy to make these decisions and keep our customers happy. Highly recommended!
We've had navidium for nearly a year now and could not be happier! It gives us more options and control than our other shipping protection company did and the customer service is top notch.
We operate three Shopify stores. Two of them have Route and we have not been particularly happy with the service they provide. In fact, it seemed that Route would fight with my customers any time they would try to make a claim on a lost or stolen package. I came to believe that Route makes a lot of money off of me and stores like mine for very little except security theater in return. When I heard about Navidium, the developers got my attention immediately when they gracefully explained that they had a similar experience with companies like Route. They developed Navidium to make the process more streamlined -- which helps us act faster to resolve customer situations than we ever could with Route. With our crazy tight margins, we would never be able to afford this type of service on our own. Navidium makes it possible for us to offer the same service as Route at a similar cost to the customer but much faster. We can be more responsive and resolve customer shipping issues better, with more of our excellent high-touch customer service and empathy baked into the process as well. It is also very nice to make additional income for providing this high-quality service, instead of sending all that money to Route so they can fight with my clients. I want our customers to be treated like gold at every phase of their shopping experience with us. If Navidium performs as promised, we will probably move our other stores to this service someday too!
I love how Navidium lets the merchants provide their own insurance by transferring the shipping warranty money to the merchants instead of keeping it. This pads our bottom line while giving us the control to help our customers if an issue arises. All other apps take all of the revenue or a percentage, so having Navidium is a huge benefit to our business!
Navidium has been an awesome way for our company to win our customer's trust in following through with refunds and reshipments in the world of inevitable shipping issues! Highly recommend!
Installation was fast and seamless. The app immediately worked to bring in additional revenue to our stores with a 85% conversion rate. Highly recommend this to all stores. We love it and thanks for the extra revenue boost.
I support Navidium 100% vs "the other guys" that keep all our hard-earned money. as a small merchant, every dollar counts and i'll gladly vouch that since i've switched i'm seeing a better profit every month (or at least a fund for insurance claims) for doing what I probably would've done anyway.
We've been a customer since July 2022... so about 6 months of use. It has significantly reduced the question of who to send a replacement order to when it is lost, damaged, or stolen... has given a pool of funds to cover the customers that use this service... and has helped us resend to the customer without question.
We do ask for returned damaged goods, images, and if stolen, that a police report be filed (which is done over the phone anymore for a number) Having Navidium has been a great choice when it comes to apps. It seems expensive, but I recommend trying it for 3 months to see if this is right for your company, it certainly was for ours.
Navidium has been amazing with updates, installation and features. Definitely makes it easy to manage 1 on 1 customer issues which is very important when it comes to customer satisfaction. I definitely feel at home with the navidium crew and I'm looking forward to how they progress in the e-commerce world.
Fantastic app. We have used many shipping protection apps but Navidium allows us to deal with our customers quicker and easier.
