Navidium has been absolutely amazing!
The customer support team is extremely responsive and extremely helpful (will typically have a response within the hour).
My store had been using Route for the longest time. Route determines what they will cover, and makes the claims process very difficult. I found it hilarious that Route collects all money from your customers, and then will refuse reimbursement for certain orders.
With Navidium I am in complete control of reimbursing customers and it makes everything so much easier.
If you are on the fence between Route and Navidium, your choice should be Navidium and it’s not even close.
All the positive reviews are correct for this awesome app and their great support. Over 80% of our customers leave it on in cart. It really helps us to self insure for our lost/damaged in transits and not have to mess around with courier insurance where the excess is usually higher than our cost of goods anyway. It used to be wasted time (for us and the customer) and money down the drain. Navidium solves all of this.
I love this app, the whole idea and their excellent customer service. I just wish we knew earlier about it. Do not hesitate and use it asap.
What a fantastic idea for an app. We've used our $2 flat rate insurance to cover the cost of overnight shipping on replacement orders. Absolutely recommend this to everyone.

Navidium is a game-changer. The setup process was incredibly smooth, and it's great that we get to choose policies tailored to our company. The app also gives our customers a seamless experience, allowing them to file claims and contact customer support through one place. Unlike Route, which required our customers to use their dashboard. Overall, we are happy with Navidium and highly recommend it for any Shopify store.
I was in the midst of cancelling my then existing shipping insurance company, for a number of reasons, including upsetting my customers and refusing to answer my quests vis email.
I was fortunate enough to find Navidium. I set up an appointment and even recorded the conversation; to insure I heard everything correctly, to either sign up or go without any type of shipping insurance options.
Therese from Navidium, asked me about my current circumstances and then provide me with a full explain on all the features that Navidium app provides… In her demonstrated, she showed me a number of current merchants using the system, along with options and most importantly answered all my questions. Additionally, without me asking, she provided me with several ways to communicate with Navidium, in case the need arises.
It been a little more than a month since I joined Navidium, I would high suggest anyone using other shipping insurance system to take the time and take a strong look at Navidium, you’ll want to use their app.
Great app, a really helpful team, and a hands-on founder. A must-have for all shopify merchants. Would highly recommend!
As a former Route user, this has been a huge upgrade in terms of reliability. Customer service is also top notch.
Look no further! Our store just need a way to add “shipping insurance” without the bloat of other services. Between this and the other guys, Navidium lets us have full control! Yes, control over what needs insurance and the billed rate and even control over each claim!
